theyre now taking away the wolves. So that means no more ether keys, no more petra venj bounties that give good xp and harder to find treasure keys for their precious prison of elders they over hyped. similar to this was the blades of crota that never actually gave interesting rewards quite like the wolves did, but they were still content that had applications to content we purchased. now these things are taken out when they're not needed since the content becomes irrelevant and outdated so why not get rid of it? but it'd be nice if they didn't just act as its a casual under the rug act.

I wouldn't expect trials back for a while. I watched an ign interview and they asked about IB and ToO, they said they haven't discussed ToO yet but IB would definitely return. If ToO returns, expect it will likely be different from before. Not that I agree, its just what I see coming.

In bungies point of view, it's a way to force their content to be relevant. They bump the numbers up the more they restrict and lock out everything until TTK content is played. Level 40 nightfall. Level 40 playlist that replaces the weekly heroic. All past gear is irrelevant, can only use NEW gear if you want to matter. The content they create can't stand on its own merits, so they strip down everything we own and force the community to pay money and play it, or when Activision looks at them Activision will question why they payed bungie money for a game nobody played content in. It's morose. Plus, love how the notice in game says "world will REBOOT".... And AFTER you cant play its SEVEN HOUR MAINTENANCE. Duplicitous much bungie?

Which you can still do. We will gladly take your extra money. 2. Since you were supposed to be playing Destiny 3 hours a day, we don't want you spending too much time grinding the Raids anymore. We have at least 5 new things for you to grind. In fact, we want you grinding so much by the time we release the TKK raid that you will be desperate. Then, that way, you can grind some more. Well, on the stuff we want you to grind on. And we know what we're doing better than you, so we'll just take your 'thank you' now. And money. You can still give us money. 3. Prison of Elders was never meant to be a permanent game feature. Sure it was meant for repeat game play, but that repeat gameplay was only supposed to happen for a certain amount of time before it reverted to 'no game play' status 4. What happens is if you like weapons for too long, you become boring. And nobody likes you. So what we're saying is leave those weapons behind, and take your new weapons, so you can be liked . And of course, so you can be considered good. Also, this lets you lord over those with old weapons like you are superior. That's not "expanding" on anything (as Bungie claims it does). When you remove just as much as you add, it's called a zero sum margin. In fact, considering there's the base game and two DLC already, Bungie is really removing [b]MORE[/b] weapons and armor than they are adding, so the game shrinks quite a bit at this point. [b]TTK:[/b] Nightfalls are now locked until you hit level 40, and "face and survive the wrath of Oryx" (those are specifically Luke's own words. So, not only do you have to grind your way to 40, you have to beat the TTK campaign before you will have access to end-game content that you [b]PAID FOR WITH THE BASE GAME!!![/b] Daily Heroics are being removed and placed behind the same wall as you won't have access to the new Heroic Playlist until the two requirements are met, nor will you have access to the new PvP Heroic Bounties playlist as well. So, the ultimatum is clear: Bungie is saying "If you don't buy TTK, you get [b]ZERO[/b] end-game activities, even though you paid for them with the base game." So, they're making the game smaller with this change, not "expanding" it. This is the exact same thing as saying: "If you don't buy TTK, don't bother playing our game." [b]TTK:[/b] TDB and HoW campaign content becomes irrelevant once the Taken start invading the Inner Planets like Bungie said they are going to. Really, what's the point of TDB and HoW? Why even play through that content? Bungie is neutering the "imminent danger" of Crota and Skolas by removing the changes to the Patrol open-environment. No Knights... no roving bands of Wolves... without those, how much of an "imminent danger" are those two enemies if you see nothing of them? It gets even worse for a new player. New players going through all of this content for the first time. The game is taking about Crota's armies invading the Cosmodrome from the Moon. Skolas supposedly broke free of the Prison, but if none of those are present in the world, what kind of threat do they really present? Even more, if Bungie tries to explain it away as "The guardians who came before you fought long and hard to stop these imminent threats to the remainder of Hummanity..." the new player has to stop and think: "If the Y1 players already beat and stopped these threats, and they did it so well that Bungie removed them from the open environment, then what the hell is the point of [b]ME[/b] playing through it? I mean, it already has been stopped, right?" Once you do a proper comparison, it's actually quite easy to see that Bungie is making Destiny [b]smaller[/b] with TTK. You're actually getting [b]less[/b] for all the money you've already dropped into this game than you have right now in the week-and-a-half before TTK drops. How [b]ANYONE[/b] could still be defending Bungie is just.. I can't figure out how to justify any defense of Bungie.

You have to love how you can't play TTK w/out buying the irrelevant content too. Yes it'll be there but it's pointless like Year 1 was, they need to learn to scale the game w/ more high lvl options w/ fitting rewards not make it pointless.

Bungie's way of trying to force people into new content. Instead of making new content genuinely awesome and interesting enough that people actually decide themselves to change from the weapons they've come to love, they render everything else irrelevant. It's a very cheap way of progressing the game.

It's all slight of hand. It always was. They bald face lie to us all the time. You doubt that? Whatch the reveal with cosmo and deej 'playing at' all this hesitation to reveal the increase in vault space (fake as hell). Like it was some big concesion to us players. They are liars and the game will never satisfy, it's designed not to. I only bought the expansion a couple moths ago and now all that content is irrelevant. These guys are the lowest cretins of the 'gaming' world.

They actually remove content with each dlc (blades and wolf public events) and it seems this will happen with future dlcs.

Lol of course IB and ToO won't be available at launch. Who the hell would be level 40?
