Grounded my son for cheating in trials

So my son got a restriction today for backing out of matches in trials yesterday, and I grounded him from Destiny for a month. I know it is "just a video game", but cheating is cheating, and I will not tolerate it. The thing is he's pretty decent in crucible (way better than me), and he probably could've gone flawless with the right team. My ex wife doesn't understand it, but she backs my decision. He claims he didn't know, but we've had discussions about it before while doing random activities with myself and other clan members. What does the community think about this?

    1. Dont look for good advice in the forums. 2. Cheating is cheating. 3. I would say if your son is less than 17 he is too young for games like this. Not from an ability perspective but from a maturity and social dynamics perspective. Edit: for those of you who discuss the ESRB rating of T for Teen... if you do some further reading you notice that the online interactions (such as those generated using a mic) are not rated. This is the content to which I am referring.
