Has anyone who recently switched systems noticed this?
If you look at my Xbox crucible stats and my PS4 stats you'd assume it's two different players lol.
Psn is same as above
Stoic Toker is my Xb1 account
I'm not saying its definitely the case, but it makes me wonder, if that's not the case then I randomly got better at PVP. Lol
Edit: WOW what a controversial topic lol. I didn't expect so many people to chime in. Let's summarize what we've learned so far.
#1 I need to get gud
#2 I'm a complete moron, idiot, stupid person?
#3 this is where it gets interesting. Some people's theory is that there are a lot more players on PS so there is a greater chance of noobs.
#4 I've learned what to do from sucking so bad at xbox now I am good on ps4 (though I don't think I learned shit because I still get wrecked on xbox).
#5 PlayStation players are older and have more responsibility outside of Destiny (though I'm sure XBox players do too)

I had a 360 before I got my ps4, I was a diehard halo competitive player. And first time playing on ps4 I did notice that ps4 players just like to have fun, which is good.
-
There are a lot more sweaty tryhard nerds on xbox. Just one of the many reasons playstation is better.
-
Ill be honest with you, xbox has better aiming mechanics with the controller, it just feels smoother and more refined I dont own an xbox but ive played on it and the difference is pretty clear
-
Its why bungie is scared to do a bungie bounty on xbox *Shots fired! Shots fired!*
I didn't expect so many people to chime in.
Starts console war People take bait OP surprised /thread
-
The Sony ponies saying more people more noobs is ridiculous if e had he same standard of players but in a great volume his kd would have very little difference. I'm an x1 user myself but have played games like cod on PlayStation and the community there are not as good as those on Xbox. ( as most of the competitive community used to reside on Xbox) its simple. People are better on Xbox :p
-
Well there are wayyyyyyyyy more people on Playstation so obviously there is going to be more noobs
-
I own a playstation and a xbox both have destiny I can easily say that xbox is the more competitive console I have gone flawless in trials on both systems countless times And the best players are on xbox it's just that simple The playstation kids are not that good and they take it personally but there are more competitive players on Xbox then playstation
-
I never looked up the stats myself. But I've always heard that the top competitive players, and the players at the top of the overall leader boards have pretty much always been xbox players....
-
This is true. I own an Xbox myself but hop on my buddies PSN account every week or so. PvP expereince is way easy but the people there definitely have an edge on Xbox when it comes to sore losers. I have yet to receive a single piece of hate mail on PSN but get one about every two games on Xbox.
-
Stop this console war please
-
It's because most ps players have a social life outside of destiny something unheard of in the Xbox community
-
I did dogshit on both systems until I decided to drop the shotgun and go with sniper. Figured out the snipers work fairly similar to the Halo sniper, and started wreckin fools. As a result, my Xbox Crucible stats are crap and my PlayStation stats are fairly decent.

Switched to ps4 3 weeks ago. The random players I have come across are not as good as the random players on xbox. Not sure if that's because the are better or because all the good players have been done playing till ttk drops. We shall see very soon.
-
But I just looked at your stats on psn (above) and it sucks, dude I have 2.28 k/d and I consider myself average to some of my friends on psn who are crazy good, you should probably take your stats back to Xbox, we have enough scrubs in psn, lol I'm just jk stay here me, the more scrubs the more kills for us, I'm just messing with ye or am I now!

Edited by jlemale_fr: 9/5/2015 10:45:01 PMIf you start a new account you will play against noobs.. And because you have the game on Xbox you're not a noob. That makes sense I guess ? I see your stats on trials 0.7 k/d it's very bad for now but you haven't played much so it's difficult to really judge. Edit: I'm gonna buy an Xbox one soon (I want to play halo 4 and 5) I'll try destiny too then ^^
-
If you think there is somehow a difference in how well people play games on each console you are a -blam!-ing dumb ass...seriously lol If anything the ps has been around longer so theyve been at it longer...
-
Well I know there's more "squeakers" on xbone then ps4, so for whatever reason they tend to be better in PvP than some of the older gamers, not always, but more likely. Course, I would also say PS players are typically a bit more casual gamers than Xbox, cause of the bigger influx of squeakers. I'm a scrub in PvP but I also don't focus on that too much
-
Weird right? Running in to more noobs on a console that sold 10 million more than the xbox One? Just saying.
-
Theres more players on psn meaning theres more crappy players to play against im sure theirs great player on both consoles unless you gey them against eachother youll never know your comparing bad players to bad players and saying xbox players are better

Edited by Jiff The Jester: 9/5/2015 11:07:06 AMYeah I had a ps4 first, 2.0 kd, on Xbox it's barely over 1... Psn is a bunch of scrubs It's because we all had halo.
-
Destiny does run smoother on Xbox One, that's for sure. Devs don't have to change the code very much when porting to xbox, but they have to alter the code quite a bit in order to make a stable PS4 port. Unless you've played on both systems, I doubt you could notice the difference.

Can't we all just get along? :(
