Deej once said something along the lines of We won't add matchmaking when you can find a raiding crew on LFG who do raids evry Tuesday The paradox is that the second you form a raid crew you don't exactly want or need more people in it... The second paradox is the concept of relying on Sherpas who, if say a few of my friends want to take someone raiding, once we have made say 6 separate teams each with a Sherpa that means anyone else who needs a Sherpa that night can't rely on the clan So why not add optional matchmaking for when the final straw is in play Real life What happens when the clans fall apart because not every player has a religious devotion to arduous grinding every day What happens when out Sherpas have work and school Bottom line is that the LFG isn't the holy grail Bungie thinks it is and as always needs to be an option not the be all and end all Options Choice Freedom
