When the going gets tough, the tough try to have a little fun with it.
Greeting fellow Guardians,
These last few weeks have been very contentious on the forums particularly in regards to #saveourexotics and #infusion, so I thought I'd do something a little different today (as we eagerly anticipate the final Twitch reveal tomorrow) and put together a little video to help people understand the changes coming in year 2.
I don't have the ability to record gameplay; so I apologize if I set gaming videos back 20 years, but you gotta go with what you know :)
To keep this #feedback, what are you most hoping to see in the last Twitch reveal tomorrow (besides LUL guys)? I'm hoping to see a massive playground that we can truly get lost exploring.
And Bungie, we only really make fun of the things we love ;)

RAZE-LIGHTER FTW
Why can't we keep are exotics

Lmao nice video. But seriously, I really like Patch 2.0's PvP changes- and especially the nerfs. For the first time since beta, Crucible seems to be relatively balanced. Auto Rifles, Scout Rifles, and all Pulse Rifles (except Messenger), are all viable weapons. Hand Cannons have taken on the role of being a complement to the CQC player's shotgun. Fusion Rifles are usable once more. Rockets and Machine Guns are actually relatively balanced with each other. I can't say that the buffs/nerfs are helpful regarding PvE, but really.. TTK is launching in two days, and there's no point in worrying about PvE changes when all the current weapons are going to be obsolete anyway. Crucible isn't changing much, and was in dire need of balancing.

#bumpfortruth Love the video

Edited by Halcyon: 9/10/2015 7:57:43 PMI just played it a few hours ago and quite frankly. I like it. I don't love it. I don't hate it. I like it. (But this 45% decrease in damage that shotguns inflict towards AI combatants has got to go!) But the new ghost voice!? Lmfao i love it! He's upbeat and quirky. A lively ghost is what i've been waiting for for a long time. I think i might consider purchasing The Taken Wallet, WHEN enough people have gotten a good hands on look at the content.

I'm not sold. They did a great job of promoting the vanilla game and it was all lies. TDB and HoW both had serious push and ultimately we got screwed a second and Rd hard time. The twitch streams were all just more if the same.

haha that was great sols thanks for the laugh

lmfao. That one made my night

Edited by Louise Belcher: 9/3/2015 4:29:32 AMas a geriatric punk rocker who grew up on thrasher magazine and misfits albums, i appreciate this Last Caress beyond comprehension. interestingly enough, the guitar sounds like the bridge in south central rain (.48 seconds). if that was intentional, then this is truly brilliant! but i am willing to bet that it was subconscious as any good 80s punk fan obviously respects some oldschool REM. ;) [confused about the double post. not sure if it's a cache issue on my end or if bungie.net was being odd.]

Edited by MADG33k: 9/2/2015 11:29:44 PMSols this is awesome! Great work!!!! Cozmo, I nominate this for one of your movies of the week, before TTK comes out because of it's timeliness, if for no other reason. On a personal note, can you post a link to the Nerf Gun picture. I so want to print it out and hang it next to my flatscreen where I play Destiny, not only as a fitting reminder but as a conversation piece about what Bungie has done to one of the most promising games of 2015. ("I promise there will be an extra raid in TTK to make up for the one missing in HOW", "We have looked into providing you extra vault space and there is absolutely, positively, no way in the world that we can do this because of our need to support older gen consoles, I promise you", "I promise you that we have learned from our past mistakes and going forward we WILL respect the time and effort that you have put into this game and weapons and will allow you to bring them forward").

I predict that in Y2, VoG and CE will have the same gear, just with Y2 perks and values. It would be cool if we could use our old raid gear to immediately max out the new; but we wont be able to, giving more reason to grind. Time to get back on that hamster wheel!

Lol major bump

Ethereal Bump!! That was incredible!

Freedom from the gambling addiction that is destiny.

I'd like to see a comprehensive list of which year 1 exotics will be upgradeable in year 2. I've got next to no incentive (loot wise) to play between now & TTK launch. I didn't spend the resources with Xur for the gauntlet engram over the weekend as I didn't know for sure if Khepri's Sting will make the cut. Same goes for some of my unlevelled exotics.

No buffs today, just waiting on your tears LOL

Massive play ground???? I'll pre order right now!!! And purchase an extra copy of the taken king and release during my twitch @ StephenTwtch

Nice vid haha.. I'd like to see some new gameplay mechanics, something that gets me actually excited besides the new subclasses and some clarification on which exotics are not moving forward at launch and if there is a set schedule for releasing the year 2 versions slowly after launch or if we will just be left in the dark (as usual). Or maybe they could USE A DAMN HEAVY WEAPON!!! Hahaha
