Try jumper
If you use a hunter at all. I highly recommend trying out the 'jumper' button layout.
Derived from halo's old "bumper jumper" button layout. The jump button is L1. This allows you to keep your finger on R3 whilst jumping. Great for extra control and setting yourself up for air shots or dank snyps.
It also helps a lot with timing the blink glitch. And especially for bones of Yeeooaaa control. 8/8.
Getting used to new layout is always hard but if you stick with it. So rewarding

Been using it for the past day and holy shit it's so much -blam!-en better than default. Especially for titan skating. Glad I adapt to new layouts easy. Still randomly use my super at times

Used it since day one. The idea of giving up a thumbstick to jump, sacrificing aim for mobility, it just silly.

Ive used it since day one. The only issue ive ever had is with the bladedancer. I just cant get that shiet down with the jumper layout. Not sure why.

2 RepliesI just started using this to Titan skate. It's really fun but I've used my super more than a couple times trying to jump and I'm still getting used to using my middle finger to aim. I really like it tho

3 RepliesI usually keep my thumb on the stick, and have my index finger go under to jump. Its a weird thing I picked up.

I changed to this set up about a month ago. Took me about a week to master, but it's really only rough the first few matches I played with it. Ever since then it has made a huge difference in my play style and has improved my game. I definitely recommend switching.

I always use this set up on shooters, in my opinion it gives you the best accuracy while jumping or in air.
