Bungie wants people to stop playing destiny
That's the only conclusion I can draw at this point.
They themselves are unhappy with their work, and are slowly but surely pulling the plug. And generating insane profit at the same time.

2 RepliesI think they want a simpler fan base that doesn't hold them to accountability and buys the expansions out of a sense of social obligation to their in game friends and loot addiction. These people don't even notice the planned obsolescence mechanism for what it is, and actually think it is the way improvement is supposed to work (Oddly enough by removing your progress).
