My friend has been getting weird things
It keeps saying that some people are ?? Levels please contact me what to do

If you a referring to enemies displaying "??" Then that means the enemies is to high of a level for him to fight. He can't do any damage and will be killed in one shot.

If the enemies are listed as "??" then he/she is not a high enough level to do damage to these enemies. Players must be at least 3 levels lower than an enemy to deal damage. Any lower and you won't deal damage.
