Attack Value in PvP
Hi Guardians.
I have been using Hopscotch Pilgrim and loved it. However the attack value is 331.
I'm wondering will it increase the damage to enemy once I've upgrade it with ehteric light to 365? I mainly use it in PvP.
Is it worth doing it now or it is better to keep it until patch 2.0 is out?

In regular crucible attack values do not matter, only impact. In iron banner or trials of Osiris they do matter. So haven't a gun at 331 will do less damage then 365. Also they're getting a buff, I don't remember if it affected the impact of pulse rifles though.

In regular crucible all weapons have that number set to the same amount, the only time it doesn't do that is during Iron Banner. The reason different weapons do different damage is the impact value on them. So remember that number only matters in PvE or Iron Banner

Attack values only matter in level-based things, like PVE, Trials, and Iron Banner.

In normal PvP doesn't matter what attack it has,, now on too or iron banner it will matter it will still do same damage 331 or 365 ,, but since that weapon will be use able for next 2 weeks , and u can use it only on normal crucible I say no need to upgrade ,, save ethric light u may be able to exchange for something else
