I've played many iron banners, but this story was a first for me. Well, let's begin... So I got some friends together and we made a team for IB. Alone we're all good, but iron banner doesn't give a shit, does it? Extremely balancing matchmaking (super annoying) and the extreme use of the meta by everybody can easily water your skill down (you might do well yourself, but you'll lose over and over). However, for this great moment in time we could all come together to give those aforementioned things the finger and have some fun. We were good. Very good apparently. Eventually we kept getting kicked with "rabbit"s and "apple"s, which I guess means that this game doesn't like it when you don't suffer agonizing rage in iron banner. Alright so here's the good part. Our team of five at one point got matched with another team of five (for once, amirite solo players?). As we were checking them out to see what to expect, they all switched to the trials emblem. We laughed. Then we stomped them. If I recall correctly, it was only a semi-challenging game. There were a few teabags started by them, and then of course they were killed and the favor was returned. I don't recall how the two randoms did, but they were all negative, and vice versa. After that game, they stayed; wanting a rematch I'd guess. While waiting for round two, we had a laugh by all of us switching to [i]our[/i] flawless emblems. And then we beat them again. If you're as lucky as I am, you don't usually get to have your cake and eat it too, so it was a nice time. [b]Somewhat later:[/b] (a smaller fun one) We were still together as a team. We got another team against us, and we noticed that one of them was using a final round spear. He got teabagged by just about everyone. The joys of teamwork. Thanks for reading. Despite those stories, the best part was having everyone available for a team and being able to avoid the crap I mentioned near the top. That almost makes this (particularly pointless, considering what's coming) iron banner worth it.
