Guardians must conduct a search and rescue mission: Travel deep into the Dreadnaught to find Cayde, revive him, fend off waves of Taken enemies at checkpoints (during which Cayde will Golden Gun snipe targets marked by the party leader), before escaping on vehicles through the gauntlet of the ship's exhaust port. 2 - BREACH - Cayde invites you on a sneaking mission to infiltrate the control room of the Cabal flagship, which is in orbit near the Dreadnaught and vacated while their main force is attacking the Taken. You stealthily sneak through the ship's interior. During the mission, Cayde can use his Bladedancer invisibility and back-stab attacks to kill targets that the party leader marks. At particular times, Cabal Psions will see you unavoidably and run for alarm switches. Your team must chase them down through complex platforming sequences. Reaching the control room presents the opportunity to utilise the flagship's cannons to blow a hole in the Dreadnaught's hull, paving the way for a strike on the breached Dreadnaught. 3 - FUNERAL - Learning that Oryx will be holding a ceremony aboard the Dreadnaught to mourn the loss of his son, Crota. You attempt to strike against him while he is vulnerable. You crash the wake and assault Oryx, who in his final phase is more powerful than you can handle. When your party members inevitably go down, a cinematic is triggered showing Oryx about to devour the souls of your guardian. But Ikora, Zavala and Cayde blow through the door using their combined Supers and intervene. Oryx flees, leaving your to fight his lieutenants as a fireteam of six. When a lieutenant is low on health, Ikora, Cayde and Zavala will combine powers to restrain them with Light so you can pummel them with unlimited Super energy.
