Disclaimer: i'm not saying all exotics in year two are useless (just the armor we've seen on instogram)
So far, we have seen some pretty awesome exotic weapons but very useless in most instances exotics. Exotics should be the best of the best weapons and armor choices in instances. For example, Ghorn (i know but hear me out) deals tons of damage on a single target, a boss. Very niche but for some instances (or atleast intended). I'm not saying make them OP but make them useful. For example, Mida Multi tool, one of the best scout rifles and boosts movement speed, brilliant in the abyss of CE but not as great in other circumstances.
The new titan helm will be good for some but not all. I for one will use this to have fun in the crucible that is all, BUT will not be as good as a ToO helm, a legendary. Exotics should be the best of the best in CIRCUMSTANCES but don't make them a Nechrochasm.
Solution:
if we want the salt to go away bungie should:
1. redesign all existing exotics and allow them to reach Year Two values (this doesn't need to be done by launch of TTK maybe have one redesign every week if possible, just take your time and ask the community)
2. Rethink some of the Year Two Exotics (ask the community and take your time to readjust the exotic perks)
Example of Solution:
1. Ghorn: lower the velocity but keep Wolf pack rounds (keep their tracking) and remove tracking from the 1st perk node (add proximity detonation or Who's Next?)
2. Instogram Warlock chest: Exotic perk tweaked (picking up any ammo has a chance to provide glimmer and boost Armor, Recovery and Agility stats by +1 for 3 seconds). IDK just my idea, maybe OP.
