Taken King Digital Free Upgrade?
Question:
Is the Taken King digital version eligible for free upgrade to new consoles as the Year One content was?
I have friends who have only the Xbox 360 version and some with the Xbox One version and previously I would buy the 360 digital game/DLCs in order to also have the Xbox One versions. I am currently able to play with whoever is online, whether it is the Xbox 360, or Xbox One.
I am hoping to continue this with the Year 2 of Destiny but until now I haven't heard anything about it. Can someone from Bungie comment?
I would like to know which version I should Pre Order.

well I'm not repurchasing the taken king on xbox one so looks like I'm done with destiny and bungie

I cannot be the only one to which this applies: I bounce back and forth between 360 and XBONE consoles, so I purchased The Taken King and expansions for 360, counting on the upgrade. I read the article posted below and now I am disappointed with my purchase. The way I read this is I could purchase the 360 version and both consoles would get the first two expansions, with only the 360 getting Taken King or purchase the XBONE version to have it fully updated on that console but not getting any expansions for 360 at all. I would appeal to Bungie to enable digital upgrade so that players like myself do not have to spend additional $40 (on top of $80) to enable content on both consoles.
