Exotic armour buff suggestions - Titans

While there are plenty of badass exotics out there, we are well aware that some of them genuinely suck. Weapons are a trickier issue so this thread will focus on dealing with lackluster pieces of exotic armour. In this thread i'll be dealing with titan exotics, lets get right to it! The issue is in PVE, they just don't do enough damage to warrant using them, they don't even kill thralls or shanks that are a level below you. [b]Buff[/b] - Simple really, just buff the damage in pve, I'd say just enough to kill a thrall your level in one hit.     • And ruin wings lack consistency, I would prefer a more constant stream of heavy ammo than short intervals of being able to use the Hezen vengeance as a primary

      • I hate that I feel like the ACD/0 Feedback Fence doesn't always trigger in Crucible. I find it always occurs when I get punched and punch someone at the same time. That moment when you connect fists and both your shields are down. It should have gone off and killed them but I didn't even hear the pulse of arc. I just figure not to punch first and let the feedback fence do its job.

        • It appears No Backup Plans is getting a duration buff, which doesn't address the problem with it at all.

        • Good suggestions. The only thing I would say is that ACD/0 Feedback Fences are underwhelming in PVP as well. It would be nice for this ability to trigger even if you are killed by a melee ability. Melee fights are too rare in PVP for this perk to serve it's use. It is way to situational.

          Nice work. Just my point of view : Eternal warrior : Pvp oriented helm IMHO. Maybe a more lasting armor effect after super is used would be enough Helm of light : You can play superman and use other perks. Fine as it is for me (2 free perks). The STR perk I see it as a kind of drawback. but wouldn't mind any other stat. The Glass house : If defender bubble doesn't need Helm st-14 then this one is nice. Adding illuminated nice idea. Insurmontable skullfort : powerhouse when you combine with Montecarlo. (sry for xbox users until sep 15th). Fine already for melee oriented fight. No backup plans : I use unbreakable, my overshield regens during all duration of force barrier. Or Ican become an Orb maker with gift of light. Again with a Monte Carlo and I make a rain of orbs when I can melee lots of enemies. ACD/0 Feedback Fence : Combine with discharge (striker), you wipe groups of enemies or recharging force barrier (Defender) to last long enough. Still keeps a bit of danger when doing this :) . Monte Carlo again will help... Ruin wing : Only titan exotic missing. but heavy ammo drop seems enough for me. Mk.44 Standasides : I see it as PvP boots. Less down time pause when starting to sprint again to activate shoulder charge while looking for a target in narrow corridors.

        • I like the idea bungie had going for the glasshouse but maybe buff the duration from 5 sec to 10 sec making the blessing a full 20 sec duration. Adding illuminated would be nice also.

          • I said the same thing about the glass house on another thread, so I'll leave that alone. As a fix for the No Backup Plans, I was thinking more along the lines of allowing them to activate force barrier on hit along with giving the extra time to make them better for pvp. And for the stand asides, I had another idea on another thread to allow them to get shoulder charge up faster and increase the time frame by 2-3 times that of the normal time frame. That way, you actually give enemies a reason to "Stand aside"

                I think that the newer versions of our old exotics in taken king will have added perks (BUFF) so they can compete with newer exotics... which will keep people coming back to the older less balanced subclasses. Just my opinion...

              • For acd feedback, add a mechanic that increases the damage of the feedback the more enemies are around you. This would obviously be a pve buff but it really needs it.

              • For mk.44 stand aside perks could include giving you shoulder charge and increase movement speed ie mida multi tool. Split the strength into half int and strength. For no back up plans getting force barrier on hit instead of on kill would be nice, also add snap shot or quickdraw to the gloves.

              • Honestly the more effort I put into responding and making my own threads on the lack of usefulness of our exotics the more fustrated I get. I almost feel as though bungie doesn't even play and test their own game. How half of these items even made it to the game baffles me. We won't get much response from the community because they're too busy crying about blink and keeping their old guns.
