Should the Ram have its armour bonus? (Ideas to fix it)

Ever since House of Wolves most the Warlocks I have encountered in Crucible have been wearing the Ram. I get the Ram can help prevent Thorn but the problem really begins when they are a Sunsinger with Thorn and still get the armour bonus as the perk for the Ram is for Voidwalker. My overall problem is it is when the wearer uses Thorn as well I get that Thorn is also part of the Crucible meta at the moment but I have had a discussion with my friends and we have collectively come up with some possible solutions for it. in addition Warlocks already have Flame shield meaning they can just melee someone without the need for the increased armour. Possible fixes- 1) Get rid of the armour increase altogether, 2)The armour increase only works on the Voidwalker Subclass, 3)The wearer cannot wield Thorn whilst wearing the Ram. Problems I have encountered, A shoulder charge doesn't kill a player wearing the Ram, it takes 3 Thorn shots to the head to kill a wearer yet they still have to shoot someone twice in the head to get the kill. Anyone else getting annoyed with this many Rams? P.S . let me know any changes you can suggest so I can add them! Thanks for the overwhelming support for this! <3 -Amojii

  • My main issue with it is that Titans are supposed to be the tanky class and yet warlocks are the ones tanking the most damage. Personally I think replacing it with a recovery boost would synergise well with the melee perk, allowing you to regenerate faster after a melee attack.
