Why are you pre-ordering TTK?
Seriously! I am [i][b]legitimately[/b][/i] confused as to why guardians are pre-ordering. Im not bashing on the practice I just want to know why youre doing it if you are. Can someone please answer my question?
Edit: So my argument to most people is as follows. Why not just wait till it gets reviewed so you can accurately decide whether or not to buy it. I sincerely hope all of you are satisfied with TTKs release when it happens. Im off to the void. Ill answer more replies later.
Edit 2: I saw alot of "because I like playing destiny" which is fine. Right now I'm having a hard time switching discs from my xbox. But to those who said "because it looks good" is the one I have an issue with. Teaser Trailers are tailor made to entice customers into buying things they havent even seen. Sure the space combat was cool but that was [i]not[/i] gameplay. There is no way in telling youll get that on TTK. Lastly I tell you all that I wish TTK delivers, not because you spent your money but also because you seem to enjoy Destiny and if Bungie did something to ruin the experience... well thatll be a different post for another day. (Also no, I have never pre odered anything in my life)

I really just want the suros emblem, it has a dragon on it and there's no real reason to not if you're going to buy it anyways.

Because I want it and I want my Strange coin. I really love the game and there is literally nothing a review can say that will make me not want it. It's not like this is Destiny 2 and the game is being completely redone from the ground up. If you don't like the game now don't buy it. If you do then it will be more of the same plus some welcome tweaks.

I preordered. I very much like Destiny and I will 100% be buying it regardless. So for something that I was going to already do, I am getting 6 free guns (3 vanguard, 3 Suros -- 2 pulse, 2 AR, 1 sidearm, 1 scout), emblem, and cool looking shader to opt in now. All of this is free and helps me get a leg-up on the upcoming grind. It was a no-brainier for me.

I'm getting it, because i know im going to get it regardless due to my enjoyment of destiny. Getting the pre-order perks just makes me want to get it sooner.

Because I'm not stupid and know I got my money's worth and will continue. I am not one of the cry baby bitches on these forums who doesn't understand balance can never be 100% achieved and I also know this is a new game and it has expectations for its age that are in realists by the community. Summed up- I'm happy with bungie thus far

How can you "pre-order" something, Like what is that, you order before you order?

I haven't pre-ordered it yet, but I'm considering doing it for two reasons. 1. There are some small pre-order bonuses. 2. The third subclasses plus a new raid and some of the other content we've seen is enough for me to purchase it anyway, so what's the point of waiting if I already know that it's worth it to me?

I enjoyed destiny for the most part. There's a drought in content right now for me. All I'm trying to do is get hopscotch. Simply put, i just want more content. This game is fun to me

1 ReplyI'm pre-ordering it based on my being mostly pleased with the previous content. Players that enjoyed the original release as well as the 2 DLCs are obviously not going to be disappointed in the expansion. Even if it's only a mediocre expansion, it's still worth it to me. $40 is nothing. Seriously, a lot of people on here act like they are investing in a new car, or putting a down payment on a house.

I pre order not for bonuses but just for the fact that i want to have the game payed off so i dont have to worry about paying for ut when it comes out. If i have an extra five or ten or what have you, ill put it down on a future game until its payed off. Makes it so i dont have to put down as much if any when game launches [spoiler]which will be helpful this fall am i right :D[/spoiler]

2 RepliesI decided this when I bought TDB. I was so disgusted by bungie dropping pre-TDB strikes from NF and the weekly that I stopped playing for a while. I then thought about who would be punished by me not buying TDB and decided it would be me, not bungie, as I really enjoy the game. So I bought the season pass and will pre-order TTK. £/hour played destiny is the cheapest hobby I have ever had. And that includes wanking.

I got the physical collectors edition because I like to collect video game memorabilia and the strange coin and other things looked cool.

It's only $40 and I want more Destiny content. I am not expecting it to revolutionize the game as we know it, just more stuff to do. So I don't need to wait for a review.
