How can we call this a competitive game mode? Every single team I play against has an exotic hand cannon and either a long range shotgun or a final round sniper which require 3% knowledge of the games controls to use. There is no competition here, it's just 6 idiots running around a nap trying to get the first hit on someone, and what's worse is people think they're amazing at PvP when they use this unrealistic overpowered meta. It isn't even just thorn at this point. Last word, hawkmoon, it's all be that I'm being outranged as a sniper by a hand cannon. Honestly trials isn't worth playing until the weapon rebalance is released (which should honestly have been a week ago), then everyone will actually need to be skilled to win games. And before you say "Thorn is balanced" or "Final round is balanced" or anything else in the meta thats balanced let me share something- You should not be able to: -Hit someone once, turn away and jerk it and kill them -Kill somebody by hitting them in the pinky toe with any gun -Shotgun one hit people from more than 5 feet away -Shotgun people out of a revive -kill someone before they can move off a revive -Two hit anyone with any primary weapon other than messenger (headseeker, makes it viable, plus it has low fire rate) -Kill people at range with a hand cannon over a scout rifle -Accurately land shots on somebody pelting you with repeated auto rifle/pulse rifle shots I think I've proven my point. Every weekend is the same bull over and over... Bungie, we need a weapon rebalance now. Not in a month, now. Not with the next dlc, now... PvP is 50% of this game and it's being corrupted by players using the same loadouts without any second thought about having other guns equipped. Bungle you've already done the work for the rebalance, just press the damn button and send it to live already. Signed, A pissed off player refusing to play crucible until it's fixed.
