IB is laggy as hell right now
why? why Bungie why? your first few days where fun but now all im getting killed by are people that pop up out of nowhere or completely skip across the map. either servers suck right now or more people are going to get banned.

1 ReplyDoesn't surprise me. Last Tuesday-Friday it was pretty much lag less for me. Like crucible normally is for me. As the weekend went on, it got worse and worse. Sunday was very bad.

If and until they fix the lag issues, bungie should make post mortem melee kill medals/bounties. I must have gotten a few dozens of these in the past playing IB.

iron banner lags when people are in fire teams, try to go in solo to minimize lag. other fire teams may cause games to lag also.

glad already got mine done. worst IB yet. every match was a lagfest. usually im on a team of randoms getting lagged by a team of trolls. its always the same. one of them gets 30-40 kills while one of them got 0-5 kills. its like his entire purpose was just to lag out the game for the rest of his team. ive even had a few games where the guy that was obviously cheating has an end score of 0 across the board like they just joined. that goes along with that same player magically killing you and the game says you downed yourself or had a misadventure. the thing that really pisses me off is your shots not registering on time. you hit someone with a thorn and they dont start burning until after they killed you. or the only way you know you actually hit someone is when a few seconds later it pops up with an assist. the game acted like you never even hit them but then how do you get the assist if you missed? bungie can take that king and shove it up their @$$ if they think im going to throw money at my screen after this mess.

1 ReplyIts not just iron vanner its crucible in general. If its not the immense lag or the sheer number of cheaters its the utter bullshit that is the abysmal design. Soo many things are just hilariously broken and unfortunately people accept that as fine.

When isn't it? Lol..I'm done playing Control as a whole. I'm honestly bad at it. I'll stick to Skirmish, Elimination, Trials, and Clash from now on.

Idk theres this magical place no one knows anything about and you cant find any information on; their motto is "in bungie we trust • all others we monitor" it always has 2 people at least running it, they have people working there that range from career testers to government scientists, it looks like a NORAD control center; They call it " DESTINY OPERATION CENTER" or DOC for short and there are only 2 of them Sadly im not even joking, and yes thats ALL the information i could find on it. Any other info would be nice though.

2 RepliesYellow and red bars everywhere. Like whole games. I've put whole hopscotch clips in people to see them not die. Today a punches a guy 6 times in the back only for him to finally realize, turn and one punch me. And j hit a guy with rockets and he didn't die. And on twilight gap I had a guy run straight through about eleven or twelve direct head shots with a thunderlord to shotgun me. And my personal favorite is when the heavy ammo announcements are lagging. Lag, thorns snipers, shotgun camping narrow map designs. Yeah.

Still riddled with cheats even after the ban hammer. IB is a waste of time. Most of the loot is crap anyway.

6 RepliesProblem is with P2P hosting. If the host is in US and you have someone playing in Italy, the Italian player will have a dire connection with lag. This gets worse as the host selection process does not seem to care about how good their broadband is or if their connection gets worse while game is on (when everyone starts traffic lighting on connection it is because the host's broadband is struggling.
