It's not my fault I get these error codes because your game malfunctioned and I get kicked from the game.
I don't see how it's fair to ruin my trials card and give me a loss when I get disconnected due to an error.
It especially irks me that you technically get 2 losses because it doesn't matter if you have the boons.
-
final game of my trials run 8-0. Destiny has been working perfectly for 2 hours, then comes the dreaded error code kicking me and giving me a loss which in turn lead to a loss for my teammates (no flawless), thanks bungie
-
I agree you should get a loss to prevent people cheating. But at least use my boon and don't give me 2 losses. Or find a way to figure out if it's truly an error code why sold leftX
-
Or at least make it so it takes our mercy not just an immediate loss
-
Doing everything by myself = no error codes. Doing stuff with other people = Animal kingdom error codes
-
If that happened then people will just figure out how to trigger error codes themselves to avoid losses... Pls think
-
Don't worry. Trials will be gone and forgotten next month.
-
They cant, otherwise as soon as you were losing you just turn off your internet and boom no loss. #FlawlessCheese

Edited by Bicepus Maximus: 8/4/2015 3:57:14 AMBungie should make it so you do not get a loss if booted. I agree. The argument regarding players disconnecting to avoid a loss is valid but Bungie decided to implement something as stupid as flawless with an online guy. For once it would be nice if they sided with "player experience".... nothing is more idiotic then getting a loss through getting booted from the game on something as absurd as flawless.

Your best bet is turning the Mercy boon into a consumable, so that it can be activated at will, instead of having the error code bypass the boon.
-
every game works perfectly fine. I connect to destiny and i'm hit with every animal possible.
-
You lose a lot.
-
This happened when I was on 8 wins, it counted as a loss.
I now rarely play trials
-
Agreed, at the very least, the mercy boon should make up for it, but noooo, error codes bypass that and go right on your card >.>
-
Sorry but there has to be a penalty for being disconnected otherwise players will purposely get error codes to save themselves from getting a loss point.
-
I very rarely get error codes, I play PVE, Crucible and Iron banner with no problems, but as soon as I go into Trials, I get error codes. Why only in Trials?
-
@Rainbowlizz said it best. The first week ToO was out there was no loss for DC'ing and people were exploiting to ensure they didn't get a loss. Blame the cheaters. Until Bungie Finds a way to isolate who is DC'ing intentionally and who is doing it by accident, we all have to pay the price.
-
Destiny is shit lol
-
I like this idea but one problem is if you are losing you could remove your Internet connection giving you an error code and resulting in not getting the loss you would get if you continued to play that game.
-
I can't be the only one this happens to!!!
-
-
When me and my two friends play Trails, we switch off our Xbox's and unplug it. Then when it is loaded, we play the Crucible Daily. If there is no lag, we are good to go. We really shouldn't have to do this but in the 5 weeks we have entered, one guy has only D/C'd once because he didn't reset the console.
-
If your trying to accomplish anything with this post, it would have a better chance in the feedback section... Not trying to be that guy, I like the idea, but it will have a better chance at being seen by Bungie in the feedback section... Good luck! Bump!

Edited by wPooney: 8/3/2015 7:28:19 PMThe trials card needs to be programmed to recognize #error codes, but also decipher between a console power down, a leave to orbit and a change character entry. Not sure if that's possible, but if it is, it needs to happen asap
-
It would be great if that could happen, but the fact of the matter is, people would abuse the shit out of that if this were the case. They're at 4 losses in a match, everyone in the losing team just disconnects their internet and bam a free forgiven loss. It would be nice, but people would abuse it.
-
Sorry bud but it's your connection. I've never disconnected from a trials match before until this week and I've played a lot of trials. Only reason I disconnected this week is im on vacation and there is crap wifi.
-
At the very least make it consume Mercy first instead of giving you an auto loss. This is the only thing I can think of that would keep people from exploiting like week 1 of Trials.
