The traveler was searching for the best allies that would use the travelers technology for good. The first species the traveler found was the fallen but they were not what we see in the game they were just ether. The fallen originated from a gas giant called "The Whirlwind". The traveler helped the fallen create bodies and ships to traverse space. The fallen created servitors to honor the traveler. They decided to become pirates and they attacked and killed species after species. The traveler left them with pure discontent. The fallen followed. The traveler found the hive and helped them be able to go through deep space in a stasis but the hive used this ability to create an empire that spread from system to system. The traveler left feeling this was a massive failure. The hive followed. The fallen light years closer to the traveler found the hive empire and attacked. They were driven out and continued to chase the traveler. The vex a massively intelligent species was next to be found be the traveler. It helped the vex meld their minds to machine in order to live forever. The vex with this new found ability began to conquer and enslave entire worlds and galaxies. The traveler left so the vex could cull no more power from the traveler. With their combined hate and fury the vex created the darkness. The followed the traveler. The traveler feeling having failed went on. The cabal a species not ever able to leave their liquid planet that was over populated drew the interest of the traveler. The traveler helped the cabal leave their planet and explore. At first the traveler was happy. That is until the cabal encountered the forces following the traveller an massive war ensued ending in the destruction of the cabal home world. The traveler left while the war was at its peak. The traveler found a dead planet and stayed there. That is until the humans found it and requested it's help. The humans unlike the fallen,hive,vex,and cabal used the travelers tech to further their science. The traveler created the speaker to keep in communique with the humans to stop what the dark force before had done. War almost ended on earth. The humans went to almost all the planets in the galaxy. Scientists wanted to be immortal but could never figure out how to meld mind into the exos they created. Except for the stranger. She travels between time streams finding the won where it is safe for her to interact normally without the traveler leaving. She guides guardians on certain paths in Time to find the perfect time stream. The fallen hit the planets of the sol system and attack the humans. They flee to the reef. There they did not survive. Their minds were captured and their bodies cloned. Thus the awoken were born. The hive hit the moon and take over. The revived guardians raid the moon in a futile attempt to remove Crota. The vex transform Neptune into a factory to create more vex foot soldiers. Then invade mars and Venus. The cabal hit mars and invade. The traveler seeing this uses it's abilities to defend as many humans as possible and revues those able to use the light as a weapon. The speakers sends the guardians out to take back the universe.
