Mark my words, I will NOT be back to any Bungie games unless Destiny 2 brings us dedicated servers and drops support for old gen consoles. Most of us will end up playing TTK for sure, because we love this game at its core, which is why some of these problems seem to really get us so upset. But that being said, the excuses just keep stacking up and it is wearing people down. Connection issues to no end, even back to the plug-pulling days of Crota release, and it's only getting worse with exploits being uncovered. Being told that we can't have more vault space because of old gen memory restrictions. Being told that they're bringing a much better host-matching system to Trials to improve multiplayer, yet it has more cheaters than any other mode. Did we mention that their matchmaking system in general is pretty terrible as a whole? Almost never can match based on skill, and has a lovely habit in Iron Banner of pitting 6-man premades against pubs. Awesome right? All we can hope at this point is that another year from now when we're awaiting Destiny 2 release, we get some big news for big changes behind the scenes. We need dedicated servers NOW, but there are many of us who are reasonable enough to know this can only come in time. Hear us now, Bungie. This is not another rant, and not another "I quit" post. I'm just laying it out there now that Bungie is on the clock for my/our loyalty as gamers who expect a certain level of quality in our purchases. I will not be back for edits and this thread will be left stamped as 7/30/15. No, I will not be back to feed the trolls, let them starve.
