The beginning starts at the bottom, Nepal aid T-shirt shipping costs issue. 'Honesty is the best policy' Thanks for the reply. I’m confused though as I was watching the tracking information as I was excited about the T-Shirt coming as it’s for my partner and it’s been a long wait. The tracking information said there was an attempted delivery to my address at 07.35am (although I was indoors and in my living room since 06.00am working) To get a re-delivery I should use the contact information on the peach slip posted through the door but there was no slip posted through the door so I couldn't do this I had to wait to be contacted. A couple of days later a slip came from Royal Mail saying there was customs handling fee charge of £11.18 that's almost an extra $20USD on top of the $40usd and out of that total $60usd for a t-shirt for charity aid how much did the Nepal charity actually get? That’s ridiculous for a retailer as big as yourselves online and through social media claiming to be international that doesn't get it’s shipping costs right, as i’m sure you're aware UK purchasers would think twice if they had to pay high shipping costs but the choice is there if those prices are listed correctly. Not forced into it because if I don’t pay the extra charges I’ve lost the item altogether. Bungie you are becoming that big corporate company that rinse their customers for every penny. I was one of the many that didn't listen to the critic's slating the game in the beginning for being chopped up for maximum profits and I purchased it on both Xbox one and PS4 with all of the DLC for both and have pre-ordered the Taken King having paid full price for all of them. Had I waited till you were greedy to get more I would now be getting Taken Kings for £5 in the bundle for the whole lot. You harp on about loyalty but where is yours to the customers? These fees are imposed by the government of the country where the package is being delivered onto the purchaser whom is receiving the package. We do not track which countries impose these fees or any of the requirements/restrictions that they have in place to decide what to charge for them. We simply don't have the manpower to track this information as it varies from country to country and is constantly being updated/changed. There are ways for us to 'prepay' customs but that just involves us collecting it upfront and it ends up costing more that way because the services that will process shipments with customs included have more expensive shipping/processing fees on top of the customs charge. I would encourage you to reach out to your local post office and work with them in resolving this issue.   • Importing anything outside the eu over the value of £15 is subject to vat tax or import tax unless marked as a gift. Sometimes items slip through and you don't have to pay it, I got a Google one phone ages ago and had to pay another 30 quid on top. You can't blame bungie at all its not their responsibility. Imo you should have checked before ordering. It sucks I know that you have paid all this money and for charity as well but end of day you should be ranting at Cameron and royal mail not bungie.
