HOW HARD IS TO START RAIDING!
I finally got to level 32 and want to start raiding but just the idea make me nervous. First you have to find a team, bunch of people that will probably judge you because you don't know what you are doing, people with better weapons and I am sure a lot of them will drop you when you need to be revived every minute. I hope I can find a team willing to help me through the process, but have not been lucky so far. I am probably an average player but feel like I don't have good enough weapons a few scout legendary rifles, red death, universal shotgun, patient and time a bunch of legendary sniper rifles a legendary machine gun and an exotic launcher. Any advise?
Update: I finally killed Atheon! Thanks to the Fireteam who helped me thru the whole Raid and did not give up. It took us 3 hours to kill the bitch but we did it. Ill do normal a few more times then Crota is next

1 ReplyDon't worry about raiding....I've been in raids where people jumped in front of me as I fired the shield at that damn Templar and claim they didn't do shit. I've had raiders just magically die and I jokingly say "maybe it was an act of God..."(I am Christian) who yell out "THERE IS NO GOD" like a little kid who didn't get their toy from wal-Mart. I've had raiders go AFK from the start only to be kicked before the main battle for the Templar kicks in. I've had a damn good crota raid on hard because one guy knew what he was doing and saved my ass. I've had people save others and maintain a horde of enemies and help out instead of bitch and complain that "the enemies are too strong" I've had raiders wait for everyone to get ready for the mad dash on the lanterns or the relic in VoG. The point is you'll get used to raiding but you'll never get used to idiots or assholes who think their top shit because they have an exotic that no one else has but hey...that's how I met a few of my friends is because of raiding and me and Them play a lot of games together.
