Destiny 2 ideas

So I think we need a forum for our ideas for Destiny 2. I think it's agreed that most people on here enjoy Destiny, love it even. But it has its flaws and since we love this game, we want it to get better. I have some ideas for some big things that can be added to Destiny 2 to make this a game actually worth buying. Story - The story in Destiny was weak. There is no hiding that. We, as gamers, traversed this tightly knit universe very loosely. There was no cohesive story line, just some things to do, things to stop, stuff to get. Each mission layout was the same, some were just longer than others. We got almost no backstory on the Traveler, Guardians, the Darkness, the Speaker, Ghosts, reason for fighting, there was nothing. Bungie made Halo. Halo has a huge universe with some amazing characters and places. The story and universe is intricate and enthralling. If Destiny is to continue, we need a strong story and characters because i felt no connection to anyone or anything in this game's "story". Matchmaking - The biggest reasons why I play, and I want to say for the most part everyone else plays Destiny, is the Nightfall, Weekly Heroic Strike, PoE, & the Raids, with some PvP thrown in as well. I think matchmaking needs to be a much bigger thing. For the Nightfall, upper PoE, and the Raids, matchmaking is a must. There are a lot of people who solo this game, I do a lot, but I don't want to be essentially punished for it. I have to LFG fire teams for Raids, Nightfalls, and upper PoE, which is easy, yeah, but I shouldn't have to. I should be able to matchmake a Raid if I want to. This makes a lot of the game and its treasures way more accessible to a lot more people. More matching, Bungie. It needs to happen. Co-Op/Splitscreen - Who complains of a game that has spit-screen? No one. DESTINY WOULD'VE BEEN PERFECT FOR SPLIT-SCREEN PLAY. I could be playing with my brother in PoE, or Strikes, or the missions, or PvP, but no. Only one player per console. Why, Bungie? Halo worked so well with co op and Splitscreen, why is it not in this? I know Bungie wanted to step away from what Halo was and make something new, but Halo had some incredible things that were so basic and integral to the experience that it was silly of Bungie to not carry over that. I really enjoy the leveling concept, the light level concept was very innovative and got a lot of to keep playing and hunting, even if we really are doing the exact same thing every week for better gear… maybe. I think the whole grinding concept of Destiny can be touched up as well. Of course there are more things to touch on and that's what I want hear. These were just some of my major thoughts.

 • I don't want a Destiny 2. This one is so half ássed I hate it. Backwards story missions, making content and reselling the content you bought. I am not buying Destiny 2 unless it's actually good. There's nothing new in this game anymore and there was. TTK looks like Dark Below with more content that will make you grind more. There are some things in this game I love and it's pretty rewarding to get something new. This game was fun while it lasted... Once you play something 10+, it kinda gets boring. Also Prison of Elders, talk about having fun for one time. Vault of Glass might be the only enjoyable raid to be honest, sometimes Crota.
