Odd experiences with the opposite gender?

What was the oddest thing that ever happened to you with the other gender...or if you swing that way the same gender. Mine would be with my Pa quite a while back, we were at the store buying some snacks, i'm picking up the bags to start carrying outside and my Pa follows, I hear my dad chuckle behind me, not worrying about it as I head to the car. As soon as we are in the car, my pa says this. "Did you see those two girls checking you out?" "What?" Next thing I know he goes into full detail as he saw two blonde girls "undressing me with their eyes". I never saw these women, heard them, nothing. Apparently they were mumbling something too. Next thing he does is call my Ma and explain the whole story to her, now she's laughing and i'm so flipping confused. I never saw who those women were, and found it the wierdest thing that my dad went into so.much.detail. It's also good to note, this has happened more than once.

  • A girl was obsessed with me, super obsessed. I wasn't interested. Well, she didn't leave me alone for months. I told her no again, then she staged a conversation that was fake about me. She changed the contact info of her friend to my name, then she made up a conversation about all this sexual stuff I did to her that I didn't do. I almost went to jail for nothing

(long ass story that's going to take probably 4-5 posts. might be tldr for most) Picture this: 12th grade. Senior year. Graduation season. Prom week. I've never been the type to go to any parties or dances or anything like that. It's just not me. Some people call me lame and boring for that, but I tell those people that I don't do anything just because of what others say. I don't do something that I don't want to do, unless I have no choice. I've never been the type of guy to get pressured into anything unless I've been willing. The prom was, sort of, one of these events. All year long, the prom has been the word on the street for us seniors (you know how it is). Who's going with who. Who's wearing what. All that nonsense that I almost can't stand. All year long, I hadn't had any plans to attend the prom. I hadn't even considered it, to be honest. I had my reasons, which was more than just simply being an introvert. Every time someone asked me about it, I'd tell them that I wasn't even going. I wasn't looking forward to wearing a tight suit for 2-3 hours on in, hot as hell, and not being able to hear anything because of loud music. I'd planned on simply going to the mx park that weekend to practice out some tweaking I'd done to my bike. In short, I had better things to do. But, like I told you to picture, it was prom week. This meant that prom was the only topic on the tongues of all the juniors and seniors. Even the teachers. In the couple weeks prior, ( I'm Not Bragging or Anything.), I'd already been asked by probably 3 different girls. Now, they weren't asking me simply because of popularity and looks. As you can guess, I was on the bottom rung when it came to popularity, and I don't consider myself attractive. But I had the most bad-ass ride at the school, which automatically meant that pulling up with me was like pulling up in style. And there were several other things that factored in, but I'm not about to bore you with any of that. Bottomline is that I was getting asked at a rate of at least 1 girl every 3 days, just about. And on Monday of prom week, this really good looking brunette chick caught me in the hallway just as I was heading back to class from lunch. Now, I knew who this girl was. She was Claire. We'd had 2 art classes together and had worked together on several big projects, both in and outside of those art classes. Probably as good as friends as you can be without being in a relationship. Sort of like a brother-sister type deal, but not quite a brother-sister type deal. I'd been over her house to work on stuff and we'd spent a lot of time together in general and had a lot of stuff in common, like frequenting the library and games and all that geeky stuff. Basically, we were friends. Good friends. When she approached me, I thought she was going to ask me about another project to help her on. She was/is a photographer (really good), and I was more of the straightforward traditional/digital artist. This isn't to say that she only talks to me when she needs something - we talked about as often as you can talk to someone who isn't in your family or in a relationship with you - but you know when someone's approaching you to ask you something versus running into you and saying hi. It was basically one of those situations. But, as you can guess, she asked me about the prom. Specifically, if I was going to it. I told her, and I remember this, "I kind of have some other stuff planned." She told me something like "Really? Like, what's so important that Covan can't take me to the prom?" She knew that I was big into motocross and all that, and I told her that I was planning on messing around with the suspension on my bike and I wanted to test it out at the park. She laughed and said "You're such a... mechanics head! Come on, that can wait till next week!" (I kind of was/is, always messing around underneath the hood, etc. Like I said, I had the most bad-ass ride at the school, and I'd gotten my car out of a junkyard). We were pretty close, and I'd never had a girlfriend(I actually never have had one - i'm not afraid to tell it) or even taken a girl on a date before, and had no real experience on any romantic dancing and shit like that. Plus, I'd already basically turned down like several girls by telling them that I wasn't going to be there in the first place, so I felt that it would be sketchy if I showed up anyway with a chick in my arms. I hadn't bought Claire any flowers or anything, I hadn't said anything flirtatious with her, I hadn't held her hand or anything like that. Basically, I hadn't given off any signs that I was 'into' her. Yes, I found her really attractive and she was a very interesting person to know, even so far as rivaling me, and I've always considered myself to be one hell of a multi-faceted jack of all trades. All of this was pretty much running through my head when she asked me if I would take her, and so, to buy myself some time, I told her that I had to get to class really quick and that I'd sleep on it. And sleep on it, I did. That was basically the headline of my mind that day - you know how you have that one thing that you keep thinking about, poring over, even so far as debating with yourself about, and when someone asks you what's wrong or what's going on or whatever, you immediately tell them 'nothing, everything's cool'. I mean, I didn't have any suits to wear. I'd never put on a tux before and felt that I'd look silly in one, on top of the fact that I had planned my entire schedule for that week without the prom being a factor. So the logistics of the situation alone was enough to make me question my decisions. I knew that Claire wasn't trying to go with me for appearances' sake - I had no rep to speak of, and we'd been good friends for a long time already. I wasn't entirely sure what route I should take, and I'm not 100% certain, but I might have made my b.net profile just so that I could ask on the flood what I should do. --to be cont'd--

            • Well its not the oddest but today I was at work (I'm a server at a wedding venue) and I was bussing a room in which I thought I was alone so I was talking to myself out loud with a weird country accent for whatever reason just focusing on work. Then I hear a noise and look up... she's just sitting there giving me the weirdest look.. very awkward moment plus I tripped over a chair trying to nonchalantly walk out.

Story one: I was at the beach when two girls who were passing out free samples of Red Bull came up to me. Having just moved to Taiwan, didn't speak much Chinese and they didn't speak much English. After handing me a Red Bull, one of the girls held her arm next to my leg and exclaimed, "So white!" before moving on. It was meant as a complement (pale skin is considered more attractive here) but, having just arrived from the States, it was a bit jarring. Story two: Myself and some friends were at a restaurant for local improv night. A waitress walked up to me and asked, "Do you know, 做炒飯?" "To make fried rice...?" I replied. "Yes, but it also mean... (·_· )... ( ·_·)... (·_· )... *whispering* sex..." She then turned around and continued to wait tables. She was completely nonchalant, didn't even look back.

I moved to England at 14 and on my first buss ride to school this girl walks up to me and says... " Hi, I'm ace Ventura pet detective. Boom shag a laga." Sit down next to me puts her hand out... I nearly pissed my pants laughing.
