Day one of Iron Banner is coming to a close, how'd it go for you guys?
Personally couldn't do the machine gun spree bounty for the life of me, but the other ones were fairly easy. Nearly half-way towards level three! I also got quite a few legendary guns today, but I dismantled most of them.
What about you guys?

Lag at times was brutal. I'd get a super kill but still die from a shotgun blast before my super kill registered. It made no sense with melee kills too. I'd clearly killed the guy but still die myself getting hit after he'd meant to be dead. Then I'd see him die 2 secs later. Other than that, I can't really complain too much. Seems a grind on day 2 so far though. Can't seem to get it together.

Got both my Titan and Warlock to 2.25. Agree with other posters - lag was worst I've experienced in IB. OTOH, the drop rate for Exotics seems to be higher than usual. I never saw an Exotic drop during last 2 IB and I ran all 3 of my Guardians to Level 5 both times. Yesterday, I saw a Suros Regime drop for a player and I got NLB as a drop a few matches later. Very excited as it was one of only 2 Exotic weapons I didn't have.

Some intentional laggers here and there, but my clan had fun. Didn't lose at all yesterday.

Three times I got put in a match already in progress that my team was getting stomped when I joined add thorn and lag and it was miserable. I love this game but it's so hard to enjoy lately.

Rank 2 and change. Only really care for the hunter helmet and new timurs lash this time around so I'm not going to go crazy and try to level my other characters.

Once again the game off Iron LAG Banner is bk!! Wtf BUNGIE!! Do us a favour instead off mucking abt with the stats on guns how abt sorting out connections and matchmaking!! You tell us REPORT Bad Connections and Cheaters......... OK done that!! Still NOTHING gets done!! This is 2015 there is no way this should be continually happening! If your systems are so updated that they can see who has shit connections......stick them all in the one lobby and let us with decent internet get a decent game!! Your going to lose your players!! How can ANYONE with practically NO bar connections come top off the leader board in every game......let me tell you cause they are lagging so bad on the game its impossible to kill them!!! Sort this out the game is becoming unplayable!!!

All I can say is that Iron Banner is utterly shameful. It is so bad, I can't even play it.

Destiny has become a snooze and grind fest until taken king comes out. Plenty of other things to play. I haven't even attempted any of the weekly events yet. Can't bring myself to log on.

Finished all of the bounties except the melee kills. That's always tough for me as a hunter because their melee is so weak. There seemed to be a lot more lag than usual in the games last night on both teams (saw a lot of red and yellow bar connections). I did see a lot more people running Defender Titan with the good ol bubble. Also saw more people than usual with Thorn. Normally in IB the Thorn usage is down compared to Trials, but last night it seemed that there were at least 3 people on every team with Thorn.

Didn't play until this morning. Off to a good start. No drops yet.

I'm not talking part in this installment of Iron banner. It's the same laggy crappy game play where sweaty try hards use nothing but thorn and shotguns every time. I'm not grinding for crappy gear and light shards I can get from PoE.

1 ReplyI don't quite understand why people insist on using rockets instead of machine guns, when you could kill two birds with one stone by using a machine gun to complete the bounties for heavy and machine gun sprees. All I've gone against is grenades and horseshoes smh

Got to rank 2 finished all bounties. The lag was terrible. The worst yet. Towards the end of the night every lobby I had everyone including myself was red bar. Was not fun at all.

I got a Radegast's Fury bazooka and I am working towards those sweet Etheric lights. I figure if I get to rank 5 on all three of my characters that is 6 Etheric Lights and then I will be 34 and I can do Hard Mode Bane of Skolas and knock out the year one moments of triumph!

Played for about 1.5hrs. Every single one, was a lagtastic nonsense parade. I joined my usual IB fireteam of 6 (most of them are absolute killers) and we never won a single match. Other players invincible, teleporting, dying 5 seconds after the fact so you never got better than trades. I'm about to try again so wish me luck.

it gets worse every time. until they get an actual skill based matchmaking system, and dedicated servers, it will continue to be terrible

Got all six bounties done, spent most of the time getting buttslammed by lag and lag switchers. Be happy when friday comes around and they all go back to doing Trials.
