Which class requires the least amount of skill?

Titan (Defender, Striker)

485

Warlock (Sunsinger, Voidwalker

1203

Hunter (Bladedancer, Gunslinger)

623

So there have been many recent arguments about which class requires the least amount of skill to play as! Many things to consider are the melees, supers, jumps, and special perks. (Invisibility, shoulder charge, etc) Vote and explain.

In terms of the classes in general(least skill to most): 1. Bladedancer 2. Sunsinger 3. Gunslinger 4. Striker/Voidwalker 5. Defender In terms of Supers: 1. Bladedancer 2. Voidwalker/Gunslinger 3. Striker 4. Sunsinger 5. Defender I based this rating on which supers I believe are the easiest to get multiple kills with (as supers are meant to be used)

    • Void Walker Wouldn't say 'least skilled' more like - most killing potential. Double Scatter grenades when using Nothing Manacles, strong Melee, strong Super when used effectively means good kill streak potential for worthy players. Bloom also helps....

      • Titans take the most skill because they have the least tools in the Crucible. Warlocks and Hunters take less skill because they're more Crucible oriented. It's like in, say, something like Smash Brothers. Diddy Kong used to be so good because he was easy to use. A really good Charizard player would destroy with Diddy, where as a good Titan using an Auto Rifle would destroy as a Hunter with Thorn.

        • Warlocks because Sunsingers don't have to worry about dying and Voidwalkers have a huge projectile that is really hard to dodge

          • Least Skill Chart It's really hard to say which class has least skill overall. It's mainly each individual ability that you can assort out. Melee: Warlocks. Reason: Range Jump: Warlock and Hunter Reason: Blink Grenades: Warlock Reason: Axion and Firebolt. Now with Nothing Manacles, Scatter grenades too. Supers: Titan and Warlock (Partial Hunter. Will explain Reason for Titan and Warlock: Panic Smash. Panic Bomb. (Partial Bubble camping, but really, who should you blame? The Titan sitting in the bubble or the people being stupid enough to run in there and get shotgunned?) Spamnades. (Radiance) Now, partial hunter because Bladedancer. No this is not an "OP rant." Why i said partial is because, while yes Bladedancer is timed and each swing takes super away, its still just a spam button. But i guess if you want, you can go by who appeared the most above and you could say: Warlocks. require the least skill to play as. Then Hunters. Then Titan. So now we can truly end this discussion. Titans take the most skill.

                • Least skill for PvP Warlocks, Hunters, then Titans For PvE, Warlock, Titans then Hunters Hunters get no overshields to bail them out, they have poor supers in PvE, and in general die more often because of things like this. Warlocks on the other hand get an overshield by touching someone, can revive themselves, and have the best PvE grenades

                • My warlock is my first main and favorite character, but even I must admit that they are a little OP. Sun singer especially. Still I've gone flawless in trials with every class multiple times. Each class has their strengths and weaknesses but at the end of the day you gotta be able to get kills with your primary weapon no matter which one you choose.

                • Hahah wow Every since Warlocks starting rocking the Trials, all these haters immediately imply that Warlocks are the least skilled. These are the same people who used to say that Hunters were the least skilled because of Blade Dancer in PvP. And they are the same people who complain about Thorn. Whiny bítches

                  • Although there is a skill element in it, I think it also depends what type of player you are to which character you excel with. I find hunter to be the most fragile and have to sit back with him as with warlock he's in there slapping everybody.

Titans because in pvp they can smash their controller on the ground and fist of panic. Not to mention they are almost invincible in it. But dont worry even if you kill them mid super they still keep it. Someone had serious autism when they were designing that shit. Edit- xRich123 is my bitch ;)

Assuming that this refers strictly to Crucible..................... I guarantee that if this poll was done before ToO, Warlocks wouldn't be complained about by nearly as many people. SUPERS - Anyone that says Nova Bomb is a panic button fails to realise that' it's the slowest Super animation in the game and is the only super to have projectile travel time. Compare that to Fist of Panic, of equal or greater radius, quickest Super animation, instant damage after activation unless in the air (still faster than Nova Bomb) and greater damage resistance. For Sunsingers, the complaints stem purely from people who were destroyed in ToO by a self-res Warlock that they failed to deal with correctly. In reality, Warlocks have the least consistent Supers - I've been a full time Warlock since day one and I only have 11 Space Magic and 7 Scorched Earth medals, yet I see Hunters with several hundred of Way of the Gun and Gutted medals, similar case with Cry Havoc to a lesser extent. MELEE - Warlocks have too much melee range and the perks on their unique melee are too good? The current Shotgun-filled meta makes any complaints about melee irrelevant, and even at that if you want to complain about perks, remember that the melee has to be available. In that case, why not whinge about Blink Strike, the melee with the greatest range and potential to one-hit? GRENADES - Axion Bolts, Firebolts and Arcbolts do the same thing and can't one-hit. Lightning grenades have far too wide a radius for damage, as do Tripmines which also stick to people like the much-hated Fusion Grenades, except that they do more damage over a larger area without having to stick JUMPS - I have to be honest, I can't really fault the complaints about Blink and how inferior Lift is. Only point I really have to say here is that Double Jump allows for a much easier entry and exit of battles.
