I've been trying to figure this out. The whole point of a loot system is to find the best loot and dominate with it. But bungie seems determined to take the best loot away from us and make it worthless. So why does the loot system even exist? Can anybody figure out a way for a tiered loot system where some things are just better than other things, and a balanced playing field where nothing is better than anything else can co-exist?
