Gjallarhorn nerf is unnecessary, but won't be relevant soon.
HEAR ME OUT!!! while I do agree that Gally's nerf is low blow to many a guardian, I also think that this is so that it won't overshadow the new launchers TTK will offer and become the automatic go-to requirement for the new raid. I think that's what Bungie meant by getting rid of the Gally or get out attitude. However I do think it's unnecessary if Bungie truly wants to make their newer launchers compete with Gjallarhorn it will have perks that are just as useful as Wolfpack rounds. If you are quitting Destiny because TTK is too much, that's fine; it's price for the collectors edition spits in the face of year ones, that's fine too; but if you are quitting solely because of a perk doing 1/3 of its original damage, you are missing the point of a game that has a 10 year plan filled with new loot and levels to utilize! Don't bank on Gally being the best forever, that's just not going to happen and if this one thing is enough to make you hate a game and quit forever, good riddance guardian! There will come better once given the chance, be patient guardians. I know some of you spent 3,100 hours to get it, you can do it again. But the Ice Breaker nerf is complete bull shit though! TL/DR Gally's nerf sucks, suck it up, better weapons will come! Now let my crucifixion via comments commence!
