Vex Strike Idea

NOTE: The final boss fight was NOT my idea. Corresponding Minds: Vex Strike Location: Vault of Glass, Ishtar Sink, Venus(?) Description: "There is a beginning, and an end of all Vex data streams. The Corresponding Minds are nested deep within the Vault of Glass. While the Oracles envision alternate realities, and the Templar executes them, these Minds create new realities, and destroy the obsolete ones. If we can destroy these Minds, the Vex chain of command, and even the Vault itself will be crippled."- Ikora Rey Objective: Infiltrate the Vault of Glass, and destroy the Corresponding Minds. Part 1: Players spawn in the Waking Ruins on Venus, and must go through the process of opening the Vault. Ghost: "I don't think either of us realize just how important this mission is. Let's get it done." Once the door opens, the players step through. Ghost: "Entering the Vault always gives me chills. Like I'm being sealed away from time itself..." Once players reach Trial of Kabr, they see that the door is closed. Ghost: "Huh, strange. I'll see if I can unlock it." While Ghost opens the door, Hezen Protective Vex appear. Ghost: "I'm scanning their communications. The Vault is on some sort of protective lockdown. They must know we're here." After fending them off, the door eventually opens, and players step through. Part 2: Players enter Templar's Well. After the jump puzzle, and players land on the bottom platform, the first mini-boss appears: Templar's Apprentice. It is a Hydra that looks like the Templar, but isn't at powerful. Also, it just behaves like a normal Hydra, except for the occasional teleport. Some Vex will assist him. Once he's defeated, the door opens, and players move into the Gorgon Maze. They do still have to get past the Gorgons, but instead go on a side path to another door that opens once all players are near. Ghost: "I've got a bad feeling about this..." Part 3/boss fight: Corresponding Minds The room is in a circle, with two Vex Hobgoblins- one Precursor, one Descendant- floating in stasis fields. There is no cover of any kind. Their eyes activate, and they begin flying around, and attacking. They fly in randomized patterns. Once they die, the data streams turn off, and the whole room turns a shade of red. Ghost: "We did it. I think the Vault just died a little. Let's hope this can help alter Atheon's plans." Strike over. Weekly Heroic Perks Heroic: Enemies appear in greater numbers, and are more aggressive. Void Burn: Void damage from all sources are increased. Nightfall Perks Nightfall: If all team members die, the team is kicked to orbit. Void Burn: Void damage from any source is increased. Grounded: Players take more damage while in the air. Heroic: Enemies appear in greater numbers, and are more aggressive. Grimoire 1- Corresponding Minds
"The Corresponding Minds are the definition of life, and death- in a sense. The Creation Mind is a Precursor, kind of playing God with Vex alternate realities, which are then handed over to the Oracles, who foresee them. If they approve, the Templar executes them. If not, that's where the Termination Mind comes into play. Any alternate realities that are decided to be obsolete or not needed, are handed instantly to the Termination Mind. It destroys them, and feeds them to the Vex data stream that serves as a type of "trash can." If we destroy them, the Oracles will run out of realities, and the Templar will have nothing to execute, going dormant."- Cayde-6
Grimoire 2- Templar's Apprentice
"Even though the Vex seem almost immortal, new evidence suggests that the Vex do eventually "die" of natural causes. Guardians cracking the Vault of Glass have reported sightings of a Hydra that looks like the Templar, but isn't nearly as powerful. The Templar has an apprentice, and is teaching it to become the next Templar. Killing it should alter any hopes of that."- Commander Zavala.
Thanks for reading. Feedback is appreciated greatly.
