People want to quit, and break their discs. I know why. You feel robbed. You think you worked so hard for your weapons and you want to stay in power. Because you think you earned what you have. I'm here to tell you that the guns nerfed in 2.0 were for a reason. Don't be over sensitive. You people need to accept change and learn that things will. Don't be clingy. [b]2.2: But why (x, y, and z)?[/b] Most of us understand the nerfs to Thorn, Last word, and final round, but what about ice breaker, black hammer, and Gjallarhorn? They weren't necessary, right? Wrong. Gjallarhorn has done 2.5x the damage of most legendary rocket launchers, and 2x the damage of the next best thing, Truth. It's been a problem for a while now. And waiting this long to fix it is why you're mad. Because you've learned to love it. And praise it. Well stop. It's just another rocket launcher and Bungie is stupid for not nerfing it beforehand. Black hammer was necessary, but handled incorrectly. A simpler fix would be to either decrease the reserve ammo, so it [i]really[/i] mattered when you missed a shot, or they could have made it an exotic. Ice breaker, ok. No it won't be useless, Bungie just doesn't want people camping. [b]2.8: But my old weapons...[/b] We all know what etheric light says. "Year one". So does that mean we don't get to use our old legendaries in TTK? Most likely yes. But this happens very often. We can't still be using fate bringer in 2024, can we? No. You've had a year. They're are other fish in the sea. You have 2 more months to enjoy the crap out of em, so go do that. [b]Part 3: Why you don't like Destiny/Bungie[/b] You again, feel robbed. You saw what Destiny advertised and were ecstatic. You couldn't wait. Then you were let down. That's why. You were [i]lied to. [/i]If only Bungie had released as advertised or vise versa. They did it wrong. They broke your trust. It's their job now to earn that back with TTK. I personally blame Activision for being greedy and pushing release. I mean, did you see that goblin feeding energy to the other one to make it stronger while hiding their weak spots? They do that all the time. Those thralls teleporting? Please. The wizard that created an extra thrall instead of poison? Pft. What about that colossus with wings? They always fly. I mean, they never [i]stop[/i] flying around to grab Guardians. Silly Vandal. Throwing up a bubble shield. Dude, the phalanx's shields were [i]always[/i] cannons. Sure, they all have new moves, abilities, animations, entrances, and effects, but they use the same base model. What a [i]rehash.[/i] And we'll probably just do old maps backwards. Like the Oryx's dreadnought. You know, the one past the asteroid belt, that's it's own new location, with a new patrol area? Obviously it's just Mars [i]upside down.[/i] Psh. Gosh, that new strike boss with a mortar on its back that has a bubble shield around it? Dude, the mortar is obviously just... Um... Idk but it's a rehash!!!11!!1!! Many wow. Gosh. (Did I miss something?) [b]Part 5: What we've come to expect[/b] If you fed your goldfish at 2pm every day, he'd start to come to the surface at 1:50 and wait for food. Even this simple creature can figure out patterns and so can we. And hot shit these past DLC's have been let downs. Playing a map backwards? [i]Really?[/i] So we are expecting this in the next DLC. Or at least, most of you are. I'm not. I'm not a goldfish. Ok maybe I'm stupid for having high hopes, but with what we've seen with TTK? I think this is a step in the right direction for Bungie. A new patrol sounds great to me. And if it's as beautiful as the last 4, I can't wait. But it will take some time. We don't know everything yet. Maybe DeeJ can shed some ligh- who am I kidding.
