There is sucking down that Bungie Kool Aid and accepting whatever shit sandwich they hand you. Example: "Thank you Bungie Senpai for allowing me to repeat the same content over and over and over and over and over again with most often nothing to show for it :)" Example: "There is nothing wrong with this game whatsoever" Example: "There is nothing wrong with the Loot System" [b][u]Those make you a fanboy. [/u][/b] Then there is accepting the fact that this is THEIR game to do whatever they want with. They have a vision of how the game is to be played and it is their right to dictate that through various means such as balancing. Its is their right as a developer to do with the game as they wish just as its our right to stop supporting the game. - Not Playing - Not buying future content - Convincing friends to not support the game These are all your rights as a consumer when it comes to how you yourself deal with changes that you don't like. Coming to the forums and demanding that someone not make changes to something they themselves created and owned is NOT a right as a consumer. You have the right to give your feedback, you have the right to complain, and you have the right to be pissed, but you don't have the right to [i]demand[/i] anything. [b]Before I get assaulted with 'BUT U IZ JUST A FANBOY BRUH" for the record I despise the way Bungie has handled the game. I hate the loot system. I hate the repetitive nature of the game. I hate the lack of anything that resembles a story. I hate the disturbing lack of community support. I hate the greedy overpriced DLC. I hate the fact the game feels like it was chopped up to be served to us as DLC. I hate the condescending and smug nature that the Bungie teams seems to treat us with. I hate the lack of weapon variety. I hate the lack of Armor variety (Though Etheric Light somewhat improved that). I hate the lack of ship designs and that ships are wasted on just being loading screens. [/b] [i][b]I hate ALL of it. [/b][/i] BUT I understand that its a developers job and right to dictate on how the product they made is digested. We cannot expect them to let US dictate what is and is not changed otherwise NOTHING would ever be changed because no one would ever be able to agree on what needs to be changed. Its the developers job to balance the game and bring their vision to life. Its our job as a consumer to give [b][i]FEEDBACK[/i][/b] not demands and to choose to support or abandon their product as a whole. [b]TL;DR[/b] [b]Bungie can do whatever they want with Destiny because its their game. If we don't like it we can move on to another game. We don't get to make demands. Thats not our job. Just because some of us accept that reality does not mean we are fanboys. Its means that we have enough intelligence to see the way that gaming is supposed to work. [/b]
