Fallout Lore: Vaults

Below are all of the known vaults for those interested in fallout series. 0: this vault is inside cheyenne mountain. It was for the decorated war vets' brains to be stored cryogenically. It failed. Occupants suffered severe brain damage and mental retardation upon re-awakening. 3: If I recall, this vault was supposed to act as a control group for the vault tec program, before the occupants were wiped off the map by the fiends raider group. The vault did open successfully, though. I guess it was just bad luck. 6: radiation was introduced daily in small amounts to the occupants of thus vault by way of the ventilation system. The result was a thousand feral ghouls. 8: thus vault opened successfully and on time. It became one of the vaults incorporated in vault city. 11: occupants of thus vault were told to sacrifice one member a...year I believe. They did so until only 5 people remained, at which point a message basically saying you win, good job for not killing yourselves! came on and told them that they could leave the vault whenever they wanted to. 12: the occupants if this vault were ghoulified, resulting in a ghoul city named necropolis. 13: ... The enclave eventually kidnapped inhabitants and sent in intelligent deathclaws to clean up survivors. 15: the raider groups jackals, vipers, and khans come from this vault. The shady sands settlement is also founded and inhabited by vault 15 dwellers. 17: the masters army turned this vault's occupants into second generation super mutants. 19: occupants of this vault were segregated and became extremely paranoid. I'm not entirely sure what became of them. The powder ganger raid group now inhabits thus vault. 21: Robert House turned this vault into a hotel on the new vegas strip. Its occupants were forced out into the streets of new vegas. 22: plants mutated into killing machines and killed off most of the residents. The survivirs fled into zion canyon, where they all died/were killed off eventually. 27: this vault was inhabited by twice the carrying capacity of the vault. Results of this experiment are unknown. 29: this vault was populated by children no older than 15. 34: this vault had an excess of weapons and recreational facilities. This led to overcrowding. The overseer locked the armory and the people staged an attack on it, damaging the vault. They were ghoulified by the ensuing radiation poisoning. I'm not sure if the boombers came from this vault or if they just stayed there for a little while. They were fed up because they couldn't access the still locked armory though, so they don't live there now. 36: the only food distributed to dwellers if this vault was a thin, watery gruel. Results of this experiment are inconclusive. 39: plants in this vault also mutated into killers. 42: no lightbulbs over 40 watts were stored in this vault. Results inconclusive. 43: occupants in thus vault were 20 men, 10 women, 1 panther...'nuff said. 53: equipment in this vault would consistently break down every few months. This gave unduly stress to its inhabitants. Results inconclusive. 55: no movie holotapes for entertainment purposes were included in this vault. 56: the only movies in this vault starred one particularly bad actor. It was predicted that thus vault wouldn't last as long as vault 55. 68: only 1 woman was admitted into this vault. The remaining 999 occupants were male. 69: only 1 man was admitted into this vault. The remaining 999 occupants were female...vault 69 70: clothing dispensers purposely failed after 6 months in this predominately mormon vault in salt lake city. 76: this vault only had 500 occupants. It was meant to be a control group for the vault tec experiments. 77: this vault is not canon. It is said to have only 1 man and a box of puppets, though. 87: this vault exposed its occupants to the F.E.V (forced evolutionary virus) and resulted in some of the first super mutants and centaurs. 92: the best muscisians in the world congregated in this vault. Little did they know, their real purpose was to test a new hypnosis technique called white noise to try to turn them into unquestioning super soldiers. The experiment failed with the subjects going insane and killing each other and themselves. 101: this vault was never intended to open. The overseer was dictatorial and omnipotent. Results incinclusive. 106: psychoactive drugs were introduced into this vault 10 days in. The occupants went fckin crazy and literally tried to nuke their way out of the vault. 108: Gary? Gary! This vault had a cloning device that produced clones that were hostile towards non-clones. The clones kind of took over. 111: this is your vault in fallout 4. After 200 years, you emerge as the sole survivor. 112: the occupants if this vault were put in a virtual reality simulator and were manipulated by the overseer. Basically, everyone was trapped in their own minds. *if you noticed I was missing a vault, it was either not canon, or I possibly just forgot about it. List it below and I'll take a look. *I mix up the u, i, and o as I use them interchangeably because my keyboard is too small. Srry. *feel free to correct me if I made a mistake, this is a lot of information to type down. https://youtu.be/nvqm_pPD-aQ this guy covers a good bit of lore but his videos are a little lengthy and focus more on specific instances you come across in the wasteland. He has like 40 videos on fallout lore or something and I think he still uploads them, you might as well check it out if your interested/bored.
