Titan Bubbles - Why so easily bypasses
I have to say I don't understand the logic of having a defensive bubble bypassed by other player supers, particularly those that go off outside the bubble. If you enter the bubble by all means supers should be fine but ranged supers shouldn't be penetrating the bubble.
Frankly, it becomes a container of death for those who think there is some protection from other players. Maybe if the bubble not just protected but repelled incoming fire, and those repelled attacks had a chance to hit those outside the bubble would it be feasible to allow a ranged super to penetrate or remove the bubble. But as it stands its defensive only and should trump ranged supers.
I suppose there might even be a case for saying an enemy passing through the bubble with an active super should be disengaged. Any super activated inside the bubble would be allowed though.
In any event it just seems odd that a super that does no damage should be trumped by every other super that does. *shrug*

2 RepliesYour bubble is just an orb maker. Run weapons or blessing and only use the bubble to get it. If you want to camp your bubble be ready to run. It is a super magnet and I love Nova Bombing them. Still, the smart titans always escape. The idiots stand there amazed their bubble just died, then the vortex kills them

1 ReplyContainer of death. Haha. Well said. I usually don't use bubble on capture points. Use with saint 14 on choke points around the capture point. Example would be entryway to B on the shores of time to block snipers. Make someone have to go through it or burn up their super. Use it as a shield, not a tent.

14 RepliesIts the same logic that enables FoH to smash a radiant skin super in the ground. Supers cancel supers. Pretty sound logic to me. The bubble is for everything else. If you're not using Armor of Light, you gotta place the bubble such that it gives teammates an easily reachable buff, but not easily reachable by the enemy. For example, you're in a firefight in the back hallway on Pantheon. Place the bubble around the corner so your teammates can dip in then into the hallway to shoot and back. Tucked around the corner they need to flank or come through a hail of bullets to reach it.

I would love for them to develop an exotic helm that gives the Titan a "Locked In/Locked out" attribute where for the duration of the Bubble, Nothing can come in, ie bullets, guardians, enemies of darkness, but the down side would be that as a guardian you are trapped inside for the entire duration of the bubble. It would have zero offensive capabilities but would be amazing for PVE.

Next time you want to use a defender in crucible, try this. Get a decently high impact sniper, Efrideets Spear for example, and put weapons of light on your bubble. With weapons of light active on your player, that high impact sniper will one shot body shot people with [b]every round.[/b]

Being able to 100% capture a point with no contest was dumb and made it OP due to the weapons of light buff. Just giving it the length perk and having your team do extra damage with weapons of light for a solid 2 minutes and no way to counter it. And dont forget that titan bubbles create and infinite chain of supers. This class doesnt need a buff. Its broken with the amount of orbs it produces

I don't complain when my blade dancer swings at a Titan and doesn't hit for some reason and then I get fist of panicked....stop complaining

Super beats super. That's soooooo OP.... Also you should stop camping the bubble. It's a support super not a camping tent.

8 RepliesI main defender titan. The trick is to always watch what is happening. Everything except a shatter Voidwalker super can be dodged. The bubble will take 99% of the kill shot like the upward blast of a FoH or most of GG. If they use blade dancer and you are usuing armor of light. Shotgun blast+melee will kill them or will give a trade. I always take it that 1-2 people just used a room clearing super on my bubble that doesn't directly kill. I call that a win everyday of the week, especially when I escape (usually do about 60% of the time).

4 RepliesLife of a defender Titan is rough. A bubble with armor of light though is nearly unbeatable unless someone has a super ready.
