Thats why it shouldnt be nerfed. If u SC someone and they live, in the time it takes to recover they will kill u every time. Its balanced right now

I know it's a game not real life stuff but let's put that into perspective a Titan is full of metals lot of it and weight lots of pounds running to you full speed should fckn break every bones in your chest lol just saying.. I mean I ain't like you got shoulder charge by a hunter
-
Ahhh. The Titan's primary weapon...shoulder charge. Spam. Spam. Spam. It's all Titans do.
-
Edited by stevo3stevenz: 7/11/2015 5:51:08 AMOkay so let's give hunters the most versatile and useable supers and agility, warlocks the most recovery, armour, and melee abilities in the game, but nerf the only decent thing about a Titan in crucible. Smart thinking Edit: for idiots saying it's too OP..
-
Well said and I don't even have a titan
-
Shoulder charge isn't op, it takes skill to be good at it. You can short change yourself easily and end up open to attack. I think most ppl that complain about classes only play one. If you have each role you can see for yourself that they are balanced against each other.
-
Then dont use it, there shouldn't be a bullshit instant kill in the first place.
-
Yesterday I shoulder charged 2 people and no damage was dealt to them. I was just like WTF Bungie fix your -blam!-ing game.
-
Shoulder charge isn't really as OP as you make it out to be. In open areas, you're dead. If your to be victim has a shotgun, you're dead. If your victim has the slightest gift of timing, they will jump out the way and but buckshot up your -blam!-. Only situation that it is viable in is trolling or catching an enemy by surprise, and a shotgun could do just as well. Also, contrary to popular belief, spamming shoulder charge increases cooldown. I just use it to trolololol the people that I play with.
-
If you use a final round spear, none of your sniper kills should count.
-
Good, get rid of it then. The class' actual special melee attacks aren't OHKO, why the hell would an ability with no CD and massive range be?
-
Yeah especially with all these stupid ass high impact shotguns like matador and felwinters
-
It isn't always a one hit kill. Sometimes you have to finish with a melee
-
Edited by mrproxy: 7/7/2015 4:16:24 PMI completely agree, if titans lose this then hunters should lose blink and warlocks should lose the range on their melee.
-
It's not the one hit ability. It's the range where you can activate it

Edited by MOAB23: 7/6/2015 4:05:07 PMI've used shoulder charge a few times and it rarely killed the player, usually another titan. Hunters survive for some bizarre reason, despite being the equivalent of a Recon class, and Warlocks are just far too armoured to kill. Slammed a player two days ago who wasn't using The Ram (I know, I was shocked too) and they still had a small bit of health left.

I've ran Shoulder Charge before and its not balanced....AT ALL. There is no cost to getting a ONE HIT kill. You could argue that sprinting is your cost and timing it as well, nope not buying it I've ran it before. 1st everyone sprints so...yeah okay not really a cost if you already do it. 2nd the time it take o build and how long it last is rather short to build and lastly long enough for the plan to go through. It needs to be de-buffed, allowing Titans to run around with a no cost one hit kill perk while other class do not have such a perk create something that is NOT balanced. Granted the Crucible is NOT balanced as is, due to Thorn, Last Word, and Shot Package. And the nonexistent damage drop for Hand Cannons. So....yeah. Point being Shoulder Charge has no cost and grants the user a one hit kill, and IF the counter measures are used to prevent the Shoulder Charge a one hit kill it's still only take a shotgun OR melee to finish the target off...how its that useless and balanced ShadoWalker? Granted if your Shoulder Changer is easy to see coming then a shotgun melee counter will be used and end result either you die or you both die. I'm not saying nerf it to non-one hit kills, HOWEVER it needs to have a COST to use it or a limit, this way it's something you use to start the encounter but not make it the ONLY encounter.
-
Nah if you shoulder charge then immidiately follow up with a melee it would be ok
-
-
I have seen it used effectively. I was killed in PvP IB with a shoulder charge. I am a Titan and don't use it. I don't like the impeded vision it produces. But I guess I should. Its a perk that the others don't have. Maybe I can shoulder charge down a butter knife dancer.... :)
-
so then a throwing knife from a hunter anywhere near your toon and a melee anywhere close from a warlock should be a one hit kill too then? or just the one that suits you? the point is a one hit melee kill for one class and not for the other is not exactly balanced is it? Especially as if I hit someone doing it with a shottie it should stop their momentum but doesnt. if its a one hit kill then being hit by something should stop the movement and therefore a cheap kill which isnt deserved.
