I got fallout 3, and so far, I'm really enjoying it. So now I'm wondering if I should get New Vegas. I've heard from some that it's very glitchy, and from others, that it's better than fallout 3.
Wat do?
Edit: I traded forza for it. Possibly one of the best decision I've ever made.

Yeah, personally I loved it. Even though I have it for console. I would get it if I were you.
-
If you can, pick up the Ultimate version for PC. Shit is cash.
-
Not for 360, it's pure garbage for it.
-
-
Hell yes
-
I'm so tired of hearing "As a Fallout fan..." Damn... It's like every review/comment on anything Fallout has a 60% chance to start out with that line. It'd be more interesting to hear what someone starting out with "I really dislike Fallout because..." has to say. Who isn't a Fallout fan? Lol.

The vanilla game is about 4/5ths as good as Fallout 3, but all the DLCs combined with it make it better in my opinion. Go ahead and pick up a complete edition with all the DLCs if you can find one brand new. I know that Target sells them.

So much yes. Ncr is best by the way

As a fallout fan, its worth it. Just think of it as "fallout 3.5" just watch out for cazadores-they will ruin you're real-life life. @#$%ing tarantula hawks. WHO GENETICALLY MODIFIES A BUG CALLED A "TARANTULA HAWK"
insanley smart jar brains
-
Just remember, New Vegas isn't near as good as 3.
-
It is both better than Fallout 3 and very buggy/glitchy. I recommend that you get it, but be prepared to go through many screen freezes and glitches in the world.
-
Yeah it's better than fallout 3 in every way, even after getting production time cut. Though knowing that you will notice the things they could not flesh out in time. Which will of course be disappointing.
-
It's still a fallout game but if you started on fallout 3 I wouldn't
-
It was the first Fallout that I had played, put mad work and crazy hours into it, I loved it. But my game froze at a loading screen and corrupted my save data. There was no way in hell I was going to start that long ass game over again so I dropped it like a mixtape.
-
Yeah, 3 is better but NV is still good. Doesn't really get good until you reach New Vegas in the actual story though.

Edited by Gustav: 7/6/2015 4:00:37 PMJust get Fallout 3 and New Vegas, at this point they are cheap as hell if thats what you are wondering.
-
Just get fallout 3.they both run on the same engine and the world is bigger in fallout 3
-
From what I remember, New Vegas has a better story, in my opinion, that sticks to the lore better. It also has better gameplay, and the sidequests are easier to find. In my opinion, NV is better in basically every way.
-
I enjoyed New Vegas and didn't have nearly as many issues as people are talking about on console. It's definitely worth it in my opinion. Plenty more world to discover after Fallout 3.
-
Should I get Fallout New Vegas?
Most definitely... it's a 'must play' for any Fallout fan, IMO.
-
Its really fun, then its really not. There isn't that many things to do and its not open-ended. It also has a lot of political stuff which isn't that fun because I just want to shoot and loot. The infusions of dlc help but they don't last very long. It should keep you interested until fallout 4 comes out though.
-
If your on PC, hell yeah. But if your on console then it's a debate for 15 dollars and slow loading screens with minor lag but overall a great game or a miss out on a great game.
-
Get new vegas. If you enjoyed fallout 3 and are looking for more while waiting for fallout 4, I say get new vegas. I didn't have any problems with glitches. great game
-
Bruh this be a destiny forum.
-
Yes, then after your first thorough play through mod the shit out of it.
-
Yes. Its the first fallout game I played and I really enjoyed it
