34&35 PoE difficulty.
First. Go away elitist trolls.
Second I am an above average player.
34 and 35 PoE is doable. But its not fun. Too many majors and every mob down to the lowest dreg needs to many shots with a 365 weapon to kill it. And a major? Run away! 6? 8? 15 majors? Come on. Lvl 34 players with max weapons feel like wimpy shadows of themselves. Bullet sponge bosses has turned into bullet sponge everything. Just to make crappy content feel like it lasts longer. Its not fun waiting for ammo synths and supers to charge.

Rush in fire 30 ghorns Yeah that is boring but that is your choice of strategy Ce and vog all had the same issue until people got used to it My brother even as a 34 still can't make it through the abyss I wish nightfall was this challenging instead of 5 minute runs to kill a boss in 10 seconds So far I have seen 3 different skolas strats none are superior to any other

Edited by XTempistX: 7/9/2015 9:21:57 AMFull auto shotguns drop majors in 1-2 seconds. I use auto rifles and have no trouble at all. Supers charge in 2 minutes or less if you're killing stuff. Ammo synths are just crutch. I don't use them till I get to a boss and usually only one to two per boss. You're playing the game wrong. "Go away elitist trolls." Scrub just mad that he gets wrecked. None of these bosses are sponges but I guess you want everything to die in a mag or two because that all you can handle.

I agree. I find PoE boring. Small rooms, repetition and bullet sponges was the last thing I wanted from the game. It's like crucible without infinite respawns. Where's the raid that was supposed to come with HoW? Is that just gone now?

7 RepliesI don't really like poe period. It did nothing to expand the plot/story line. It's repetitive and time consuming. There are no checkpoint for casual players. I agree with you about the emenies, they are just bullet sponges that lack any depth. For me it's a disappointment. I've done it so I could upgrade my armour and weapons but thats it. I still enjoy both of the raids way more. I was excited for HOW because of the hype I thought it looked cool. Now I'm skeptical about TTK in case I get duped again. I still play but at this point I'm barely hanging on. This feedback seems to go nowhere. I think I will buy TTK but if it's a letdown then destiny Will be finished for me.

They aren't bad, just not worth the effort put in most of the time, however I'm happy I got my Six Dreg with solar burn tonight. Finally have all three burns for hand cannons on my warlock. Just need two more to complete the trinity.

Poe is a pile of shit lets be honest! Nothing fun about it! Ive still not done the 35 on either account as it gives no incentives other than hours of grind with zero fun factor , its harder than the raids when the raids were new and that shouldnt be the case its suppose to be a stop gap till the next raid

I've done more PoE than I can count and have more to go now that I have an elder cipher but I agree that my 365 weapons should do more damage. I've had to stick with fatebringer instead of having fun with a variety of primaries because of this and that ruins part of the fun to me. This is a reoccurring issue with play modes in Destiny including PvP. you get forced to stick to certain weapons too much. I'd suggest random burns on more stuff to incentivize switching things up.

28 and 32 aren't fun either. Like you said, it has nothing to do with difficulty, but everything to do with it being boring. Once you've run it once, you've pretty much seen all there is to see. Endless heavily shielded mobs. There's no strategy and no skill, just take cover until you have more heavy ammo. The objectives don't make it fun or really add to the challenge. In fact I would go so far as to say that a mode designed around taking cover and hiding until a synth comes off cooldown instead of owning the shit out of enemies guns blazing is a f**ked up and dumb approach to FUN.

To each their own, I love 35 and 34, especially Quodron or however you spell that fellows name. (Vex boss with jailbreaker mechanic) the fights are fun but the rewards kinda blow.
