Unlocking 60+ frames in Rust ( GTX 980 )?
Eversince I got this machine last week - GTX 980 i7-4790 with 32RAM, I have been plagued with frames locked at 60FPS in EVERY game.
I've recently got the games, that are supported by the Geforce experiense, to run at 120 - 200 frames from the locked 60 state that they were before by setting my 3D settings to performance, but the rest remains the same, even if I try to individually set their settings in Nvidia's control panel.
I would also like to add that I don't have Vsync on.
Other than that, I'm pretty sure that there is something locked, since I can't even get old games like Doom 3 or the first Witcher to go past 60FPS.
ANY help would be greatly appreciated =)

Ok. What kind of monitor do you have? Also make sure that if it can go above 60, it is set to do so.
-
Why would you play on PC when the Xbone is obviously better, you PC gamers will be crying when 4k 60fps gets patched into xbox and you lose your only advantage.
-
You've been spoiled. You're taking what you have for granted. Don't worry, this happens to everyone who gets exactly what they want
-
Turn off VSync/check the main .ini file, edit the lock for MinFrameRate from 60 to whatever you want.
-
If it's not the configuration files/in game settings, monitor or GPU output settings than it's your monitor being locked at 30fps.
-
Config files? Maybe the games you want to run at 120/144fps are not natively supported. Or maybe there's a setting I can't think of from the top of my head. Are you running a 60hz monitor?

You have vsync on. To get higher fps you either need a monitor with a higher refresh rate(3d monitor) or disable vsync. Disabling it will give you tearing though and won't look good. Leave it at 60.
