I don't know if people know that
Iron banner is control! No one captures zones and they wonder why we lose. That's my only complaint. If you want to play tdm play clash or rumble. For -blam!-s sake. I never seen so many striker titans before either lol

This, so much. I had to check I hadn't accidentally strayed into clash. Way too much running and gunning, plus a lack of, well, control.

2 RepliesIndeed, sir. It's possible to win through killing more while only controlling 1 zone, but it's so much easier to win by controlling 2 zones and getting an extra 100 points per kill. So why not do it?

Okay, this one is for you xbox one gamers. Add me. I wont be online untill 16.30 gmt today, but me and my buddies take it in turns to be armour of light bubble titan whose only job is to catch zones. The rest of the fireteam just backs the bubble titan up. Works well, share the success

I agree the bounties make the gameplay so different. And I don't like it one bit. Iron banner used to be so fun. The rewards are better but holy crap the thirst is real

1 ReplyProbably because many of the players are focusing on the grind of getting iron banner bounties completed. 10 kills without dying is hard while capturing points. 3 kills without reloading your machine gun is also a defensive bounty. The truly offensive bounties are the melee and capture bounties. Blame the bounties

People who run to A... If not for the zone capture bounty it would be unforgivable. Rather have the enemy take A then see a single team mate run that direction.

1 ReplyThe problem is that the enemies points come from kills. I see too often, the enemies control point turn into a roach motel. But people keeping feeding kills to the enemy because there isn't a bad guy standing directly on the control point so they better go for it. Honestly if people worried about beating back the enemy first instead of throwing themselves in to a bombing range you wouldn't need both control points to keep the score close. #1 rule in any game mode is Stay Alive First. Even if you aren't getting a lot of kills at least you aren't giving the enemy points. You need to keep pressure on all fronts so you don't have the enemy flanking from the side or from behind while you push. And when you have pushed to the control point keep pushing so the enemies spawn swaps. Do that till you get the two control points you want then hold them. And if at first you don't succeed and you fail, fail, again....try something else. Don't keep running down the same path thinking this time might be different. Just because all the action is at one spot doesn't mean you should go head first into it.

Wish it was just death match instead though because of this. Not that that would improve the players you play with any but still. I wouldn't have to worry about something that the rest of the team sure as hell isn't worrying about.

7 RepliesRight. I was getting salty earlier because I'm pretty good. I finished a match with a 3.6 k/d with 4 caps, while 3 people on my team had zero caps and negative k/ds, ish is annoying brotha.
