Hello Guardians, I would like your opinion on something. One thing many people complain about in Destiny is a lack of customization. There are also a lot of complaints about the Clan system having no real functionality. I think Destiny could benefit from something like this. Clan Social Spaces. If you've played Warframe, then you'll know what I'm basing this idea off of. Warframe's Dojos. Guardians could build their own Social Space room by room. Materials for construction could be obtained through killing enemies, completing missions, raids, or prisons, each offering their own level of reward or special cosmetic items. There could be bounty rewards that contribute to the Social Space. Construction of a Social Space could then promote customization to a whole new level. Aside from being able to design the Social Space itself, this would lead to the ability to have Research Labs where Guardians could research weapons, armor, sparrows, ships, shaders, and emblems only available through this research tree. Maybe better items on l can only be built/researched by someone in the clan with a high enough Grimoire Score. This would also be the perfect place to introduce a Transmog system, as well as, yes, private Crucible matches in a Crucible map simulation room. This could also be used to showcase player/clan achievements. Trophies for a flawless raid completion, flawless Trials completion, etc. Maybe even a Sparrow race track. Or a custom ship creator. (We can all tell that most ships are made from a small pool of components interchanged and often recolored. This part would actually be pretty easy.) Additional ideas of merit: Themes (Cabal, Hive, Dead Orbit, FWC, etc)
