Husk of the Pit
Had a Crux of Crota drop for me yesterday. Is it possible to get the Husk of the Pit to drop by fighting the Blade of Crota in the Fist of Crota mission, or since they are no longer in patrol am I just SOL?

3 RepliesHusk of the Pit has been removed from Destiny for most gamers since the release of HoW. I have run Fist of Crota 300 times without success, and other gamers have reported much higher failure rates. One gamer reported that he ran the mission 1,200 times.

So glad I didn't get rid of it, necrocasm is a Horrible horrible weapon but if u collect exotics like I do, just do fist of crota everyday and wish u get lucky

3 RepliesI'm in the same boat, I actually had one drop for me a month ago doing the repeating Eris kill three blades of Crota bounty and I trashed it without thinking. Then this past weekend the Crux dropped for me and so I've been spending about 45 minutes a day running the Fist of Crota mission over and over. Basically I just sparrow past the opening baddies directly to the Blade of Crota guy, kill him, then restart. Over the last five days I've probably ran it about a 100 times and so far no Husk of the Pit drop. I guess it is a fairly infrequent drop. I'm still kicking myself for trashing that gun when I had it.

Yerp it sure does drop but i wouldnt farm it constantly it will only put a downer on you as its drop rate is ridiculously low just do the blade of crota bounty everyday on all characters and hope that you get lucky good luck
