Not able to connect on PS4
I'm connected to PSN and can see my friends are online playing Destiny. When I tried to log in, it hung on the connecting screen. I restarted my ps4, completely turned off my ps4, and uninstalled Destiny. Now... It's not even letting me install the update. Just says "Cannot download." What am I doing wrong?

6 RepliesHello, Dalek I would suggest resetting your modem, and router. After doing this, please hard-reset your PS4 (Hold down the power button until it turns off) Before reinstalling, please [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12539]clear the cache[/url] of your console.

Same. Not PSN. I watched a movie and an hour of kids shows from Sony. Destiny will not let me log in.

Yeah I am having a similar problem. Played batman all day with no problem connecting to the leaderboards. Then I try to get on to play some iron banner and I can't log in. Just says "destiny servers are not available."

1 ReplySame. I've gotten a variety of error codes, from Yak to Cattle with never having had any issues before, now it just says the Destiny servers are unavailable every time, rebooting the console and the router hasn't seemed to have helped.

1 ReplyAfter deleting Destiny and reinstalling, the update says "preparing to download... (50%)" and then gives me an error saying "Cannot download." Why would it do that? I've never had an error trying to install an update before.

They may have gotten overloaded since those douchebags cut the backbone cables yesterday along the west coast. Just since 4AM EST. The reports are starting to skyrocket. Its not you guys, its the network and theres nothing can be done. Even the internet itself is acting up all over.

Exact same problem here. Just messaged @BungieHelp on twitter as it seems a number of other people having the same issues. Hopefully this gets resolved soon. Nothing puts a damper on a day off than messing with Destiny playtime :(
