I accept it.
I've just decided I'll NEVER........EVER make it to the lighthouse. Ever.
Edit: thanks to all the people with positive feedback! I'm honestly not terrible and PvP I just cannot find a good team. And if anyone is on ps4 I'd LOVE the help this weekend!

You know. I won't either. I am also against match makIng for raids. But I damn well would try if ToO had match makIng. I tried once but my kd is to poor to be able to Find a team.

If you've got old VoG weapons, you already have better than the ToO adept weapons, so they're just 'status symbols' I'd rather use my Fatebringer in PVP and PVE if we are talking stats but I love the way it looks. Love my banana gun. Besides, only thing you're really missing out on is the emblem. But tbh I like the Moon of Osiris emblem a lot more ;;

I told myself that the first week of trials. Last week I got 6 wins ,I know its nothing but at least I got the armor. I feel If I keep trying One day I'll make it :)

I probably won’t make it there either and to be honest I don’t really care. I know my k/d ratio is in the gutter but I play for fun, between kids/wife and a full time job I am not going to stress over a video game. And as for the people that want to trash talk about low k/d ratio and being " an average player" they are they last ones that need to be passing judgment on someone’s maturity level.

Don't worry dude I thought the same thing this week, but my friend wanted me to play trials so I did and we went 6-0, our goal is to get to the lighthouse each week

We're in the same boat my friend. I don't have a reliable team, and I'm average at PvP in general. I love the gear and the weapons and as a collector I would love to get the Grimoire card for the Lighthouse. I tried once with some friends I usually play with (who have gone flawless) and we promptly went 0-3. I really wish there was a tiered or ranking system so I could play against other average players and not get matched up against MLG pros.

Even if you're really good, your winning streak will probably be ended by some piece o' sh!t lag switchers. Its really annoying.

Anyone can, you don't need anyone to carry you just need to practice more it can get frustrating sometimes because the team may have a better strategy then you do or have 3 self reviving warlocks. But you have to be optimistic losing to people technically makes you better your realizing you mistakes and making strategies of your own to counter the teams strategies. A helpful tip that I always do in ToO, be unpredictable. Always be unpredictable. Do not let them funnel you in one spot every round.

You need one person that can have clutch moments and then just being able to work together well does the rest. Trials is stressful, I do it once or twice a week and that's about it lol.

Keep trying, I've been on your shoes and if you just play it smart with the right people you will get there.
