Crota's End rewards help
I saw on the wiki that there are specific normal mode rewards and hard mode rewards but i didn't understand it was like:
Normal Mode Rewards ONLY:
Hard Mode Rewards ONLY:
Does that mean that if i go hard mode i don't get the rewards from normal mode?
because hard mode is well.. harder and it should be normal mode rewards plus extra hard mode rewards...
since i cant get rewards more than once or can i get rewards if i do the normal mode and then hard mode or it doesn't matter because it only counts the first time you do it and then you need to wait for weekly reset?

2 RepliesDoing hard mode before normal mode in any raid rolls the hard mode loot table twice and counts as your normal rewards. Unlike VoG, Crota's End is set up so that special and heavy weapons can only drop from normal mode and primary weapons only drop from hard mode. If you want a special or heavy weapon, do normal first

This is how it works: Normal mode has it's own drops separate from hard. From Crota, you have the exotic chance and it is where you can get a heavy (Hunger, of Crota, Song of Ir Yut) or special weapons (Black Hammer, Swordbreaker, or Light of the Abyss). These weapons can ONLY be dropped on normal. Hard mode has the exotic chance and it is where you can get the primary drops (Abyss Defiant, Fang, Word of Crota). You can also get the Crux of Crota. Keep in mind that once you do hard, you won't get both sets of drops. So if you want one of the special or heavies, do normal first and then hard.

Normal then Hard gives you chance for normal and hard while.. Hard and Hard gives you a higher chance of hard drop (I never seen two hard drops such as Fang and Word dropping at the same time but have seen legs and pulse rifle drop from Hard and Hard)
