Bad hunter, dont do that!
Every hunter i come across and chatted with either in strikes, crucible, or PoE has just been the biggest -blam!- tard lately. Why do some hunters think thay are superior to everyone? Has anyone else experienced this? And if your a hunter, do you think your better than the rest?
Edit 1: Half of the Guardians are saying hunters have the right. Half say they dont. Jeez i didnt think it get 100 comments already.
Edit 2: so people are saying that im talking about strictly hunters. Im talking about the people behind the mic who play as hunters. Yes, many people run all 3 classes, but these guys talk about how much better hunters are. Not any other class. Just to clarify.

I primary a titan but when I play my hunter. I usually run crest and play in poe. I use my blade dancer and stay on the edges of the maps when someone goes Down I wait and when they get to about 8 seconds I go invisible and res them with crest you can literally run past a down guardian and not stop and pick them up, these strategies also work in ToO

I'm a hunter and I enjoy solid team work. I'm sorry if I'm squishy and die a lot, sometimes I like to run in to mobs and be a distraction or a sacrifice for the team. Not all hunters are bad, or players in general, you've probably just getting bad luck with you matchmaking :(

1 ReplyI rolled a Titan at first, because I hate playing as squishy characters in MMOs. Got to like level 4 and then read a post saying essentially "What a joke, hunters are the best because their super is long range, and bosses always require you to be at range. Titans are useless!" Being new, I thought "Shoot, that all sounds logical to me! I'd better roll a hunter!" My Hunter ended up being my first level 20. I play all 3 classes, but the Hunter is definitely my "main". I just prefer it. Triple jump is awesome, and glide and lift both really bug me. But, I'd never claim that hunters are the best class. All of them have their awesome aspects.

As a hunter I think all guardian classes are even we all excel at one different point

I personally think hunters are the most useful in poe because they can invis and cap all 3 objectives even in the toughest situations such as the arc burn hive level for 32 this week

1 ReplyIt's not the Titan, Warlock or Hunter who thinks they're better than the other. These digital characters don't think or feel anything. It's the douchebags on the mic who are total asswipes, regardless of what character they're playing as. And for those people who personify themselves as one class or another and take these things seriously...all I can say is, wow! Go outside, walk your dog, go to the nearest store and spark a conversation with the cute chick working there today. The stuff I'm seeing on these forums is beyond sad. This is why gamers have a negative stereotype that is going even more into the red. Sad.

They're op in PVP but locks are op in pvp with right build... They just don't have hunter super. But look out PVP TITAN INCOMING... And the storm caller extra MELEE range lock looks op! Crucible is about to see lot less boring ass hunters

Hunters are good at what they do...hit/hide/hit/hide. Can't really stand their ground like titans (bubble/recovery) or warlocks (self res/flame shield/recovery). Most of the time is strikes it's [b][i][u]yolo[/u][/i][/b] anyways since dying doesn't mean anything.

4 RepliesI haven't met a hunter that talked poorly of other classes. Maybe because they need my defender bubble so bad in pve. That shuts them up quick. Urrox, qodron, trauug, the troll guy, the bubble is king

I started with Hunter and I'm now level 32, but I've felt that warlock would always be more enjoyable, and once I started playing my new character I greatly preferred it, even at the lower levels. Warlock for life!

Hunter was my original (even in Beta). I prefer the way he moves compared to the Warlock (which was my second character created). But the Titan has become my second favorite. Every character has their pros and cons. Just no need to spread the Neg.

I've never met a Hunter Elitist #huntermasterraceallthewayftw type player in game. I started out with a hunter as my main, I made 3 in hopes that I could reach level 30. I think it has a lot to do with what you start out as, what I've noticed is that if you start with a Hunter you are more likely to hate the Warlock, if you start with a Warlock you are more likely to hate the Hunter, and I've yet to meet anyone who doesn't like the Titan. Based on my experience, the players behind the Warlock are the first to talk smack, talk down to another player, jump down from the middle ledge to grab a heavy ammo because "Don't worry I've got my self-rez" and die, messing up the flow. I just feel like Warlocks are a little too reckless.

I only know one person who strictly plays just 3 hunters. He isnt the best player as he is a bit older but he doesnt gloat or have this hunter elitism that you speak of. I have never come across this at all during my time on Destiny. Almost everyone Ive met plays 1 of each or at least 2 different classes. Maybe your brain is so fixated on this topic that this is what you notice the most. What you look for is what you will find. If you go to the fridge thinking of milk, it will be easy to find. Keep an open mind.

I act a bit different depending on which class I play just to kinda get into character. I have to the superior hunter, the punch everything titan, and the know it all warlock.

2 RepliesOh hell naw I stay back and let my warlock or titan friend do the agressive shit I stay hidden and shoot with mid to long range weapons and try to stay alive to revive them if they die Hunters are meant to stay back especially with their low armor
