As we walk out of the long hall way. Manhatton had just gotten done briefing me on the different names of the hive creations we see light as if we're back on the surface we notice we are in a big hole on some kind of balcony and then we hear the screech of two big black ships tearing through space stopping ahead of us dropping knights with ascendant blades as well as acolytes no less than twenty. The Knights charge at us with gutteral screams. I pull my shotgun out and wait for them to get close I hear a crackling sound behind me as I turn I see Cuban starting to glow with electricity he disappears. I see the Knights torn to shreds in the blink of an eye their swords hit the floor with a dull clank from their weight. Manhatton tosses me a Rocket launcher he was carrying and says finish them off as I jump up I aim for the middle of the acolytes and fire once the explosion is massive that destroys the acolytes they're blown to pieces. We walk on encountering two more knights these ones seem stronger when I Notice Cuban appear behind them he throws his blade into the back of one and runs towards jumps and takes out a pistol grip shotgun while flipping he shoots the knight point blank in the head before it can even see him it falls with a thud. Manhatton runs forward his palms glowing Red with fire the knight swings at him with its sword his right hand moves like a flash melting the Knights blade almost instantly the molten hot metal splattering on the floor with his left hand he grabs the Knights face his hand burning through its very skull before I hear what can only be described as a whoosh as flames burst through the back of the knights head it falls dead. I look on thinking what are my powers what can I do? We continue through an archway on the left and then turn right one door closed in front of us. As it opens we hear the Roar we heard before only now the beast is right in front of us my ghost says Phogoth the untamed as I look I see chains running up to his arms their cracking as he thrashes roaring we continue in there are witches performing some sort of ritual to keep the chains holding. Manhatton levels his hand cannon it has an extended and is a dark orange in color he shoots twice killing both wizards the green glow fades from the chains. Phogoth shatters the chains running straight at us Cuban runs at him jumps drops two trip mines and blinks behind him Phogoth barely notices the damage he has taken and turns immediately Cuban is grabbed up in Phogoth's claws Phogoth bites off his helmet and throws him through the air he slams into a wall and falls into a pile of bones laying there with a clatter. I think to myself he's dead he killed him he can't survive with out oxygen. I immediately turn to face Phogoth the rocket launcher in my hand I fire all three remaining rockets he keeps coming. Manhatton unloads a sniper into his face he stumbles slighty and roars raising his arms and smashing the ground the whole rooms shakes and shudders from the blow we run to the far back corner behind some rocks and start shooting. Phogoth smashes through our cover. Sending Manhatton and I both against the wall knocking us down I look up grabbing for my hand cannon only to see Phogoth's fist about to crush me into the metal floor. But then Cubans there with a blink. With all his might he punches Phogoth's fist his arm Explodes from the force clear up to his bicep Phogoth reels as if surprised. Cuban glows blue his arm gone holding a knife in his left hand he jumps straight into Phogoth's chest cutting in and cutting out his back Phogoth roars in pain but he's not dead Cuban blinks back cutting the back of Phogoth's legs. He falls on all fours still roaring when Manhatton tosses me an ascendant sword from a dead Knight and says End him now! I catch the blade in mid air I run and jump with all my might plunging its jagged edge into the back of Phogoth's head. His body shudders and collapses to the floor we won I think to myself. But then I hear shrieking from across the the room. It's a witch alone but different somehow darker. I hear Manhatton say be careful that's Xyor the unwed she's killed many guardians in the past. I see Cuban laying in a pile of bones not moving face down I think to myself he saved me it won't be for Nothing I feel pure rage filling me for my fallen friend it feels as if the air is static with my anger I run at Xyor I jump and come down on her with both fists electricity all around me crushing her into the ground I don't stop as shrieks fill the air I punch and pound her skull into dust until her shrieks no longer echo in the room. I get up knowing she's dead I hear Manhatton's voice behind me we did it he says. Then I hear something unexpected Cuban's voice say well it took us long enough. As I look back Cuban lifts his hood to reveal two glowing eyes as he speaks his mouth glows and he's smiling. The first thing I say is your a robot. Instantly he says no I'm an Exo not a robot. Looking at his face he has teeth marks going up from where Phogoth bit off his helmet. I ask Manhatton I he knew Cuban was an Exo he replies I am as well my friend I'm shocked. Cubans still smiling. I look at him what are you smiling about he holds up a hand cannon Black and covered in Phogoth's blood he says when I cut threw his chest it was in his heart. Cuban looked at it I've finally found it Thorn. Manhatton pulls the sword out of Phogoth's back and cuts off his hand he's says we'll it as proof if we are to get reward for the kill I pick up what's left Xyor skull and ask if its worth anything Cuban replies of course we killed to of the hives abominations. As we walk out of the room it feels as if we are being watched. We make it back to the surface. And head for the ship. I ask Cuban on the way back how's your arm he's like I think it's time for a new one. As we onboard Manhatton chuckles to himself and ask Cuban if he needs a hand waving Phogoth's massive claws in his face we all laugh. Manhatton pilots back Cuban's ghost scanning whats left of his arm. It's mostly a quite trip. Once we reach the tower the vanguard praises us on our bravery and rewards with marks that we might get new or better equipment. I think finally I can get out of this broken gear. When my ghost says you have a message at the post master as I walk I feel tired worn down from the day. I get to the post master its a package from Shaxx. Saying being your first match you did exemplary as a reward here is some armor that you might fair better Titan never stop giving it your all. I feel relieved and at the same time happiness fills me I tear open the package the armor is brand new red in color and smooth to the touch its beautiful I read the back plating military grade titanium Crucible variants. I smile and carry it to my Quarters and lay down Cuban and Manhatton. Not in the room yet I fall asleep. To be continued.
