Really Activi$ion, really. 3 emotes = 20$ and maybe 20 euros for none Americans??? I'm so confused right now.
Edit 1: the class items are included in the bundle so that brings it back up to 6 cosmetic items!!! Errrrgh my gerhd it's worth it.
(It's not twelve cause they aren't doing 3 per race. If they were they would say 3 each.)
Saltish questions from desticles
Then don't buy it: I know I'm not buying it.
It's nine emotes: no it's not. If it was nine emotes they would say so.
This list will be continued...
Edit 2:
Think about this... If you pay for TTK and the extra cosmetics you will pay 60$ (or euros) if you're paying in euros then these two things are more then the vanilla game.
If you pay the 60$ then that is the same as the vanilla game. It had...
20 story missions
5 strikes (7 for PS)
Crucible (iron banner)
VoG
4 patrol areas
6 total subclasses
A lot of gear
TTK will have:
A couple story missions
3 total subclasses
New gear
One strike (two for PS)
A raid.
3 emotes
You are basically paying for a second game with less content then vanilla destiny.
Edit 3: A clumsy ninja satire and trolling productions does not necessarily agree with Deeko's opinions.
He's just plain salty about everything.
Edit 4: if you read this far I'm going to reply to every idiot saying the following: a Popsicle pooped a banana. Enjoy.
Edit 5: this is a troll post. Ok this is trolling, you have been trolled. I will go back under my bridge.

Bungievision is the new face of corporate greed. :-)

That awkward moment I wouldn't even be able to show off the class item cause I'm still not done with faction rewards (DO 70 and NM 20...gimme a ship and I'll stahp)
-
Dont buy it then
-
The $ goes before the number.

A Popsicle pooped a banana.
-
People bitched about it being exclusive....now they bitch about paying for it. Smh
-
3 cosmetics and 3 emotes= 2 items Not 6 items
-
ESO came with 200+ emotes with the standard game.......
-
Even tho you say it is a troll post, you are right with your facts. I pay with euro's so basicly pay more then americans. And from what i heard on the forums, england pays even more. And you get far less then the vanilla game had to offer. You can say all you want, but its really nothing more them ripping us off.

Edited by Jeff the Cabal: 6/28/2015 8:26:32 PMYes because DLCs and Micro-transactions are two different things. Micro-transaction when added up is always more expensive. If you have played a game like WoW, LoL, TF2, heartstone or CoD, you will know that skins emotes and some items are 5-10$ and some well over that. Many games with DLCs are normally 15-30$. And if you think about it, 2-3 skins will be higher than the price of a DLC. That is why they are two similar, but completely different things. And with that being said, 3 emotes, 3 shaders and 3 class items for 20$ is actually a very good deal. However personally, it is not worth my money. You could make the decision for yourself.
my friend once stupidly spent over 30$ on skins on LoL..I called him a dumbass. It took him about a week later before he realized that he just wasted 30$.
They've said their will be more than one strike for everyone in the taken king and I strongly suspect that the storyline will be much greater than the dark below and house of wolves story
-
Technically it's 3 shaders, 3 class items with xp boosts and 3 emotes for 20 bucks. Your also don't have to buy it if you don't want it.
-
Edited by ihatemyhonda: 6/28/2015 9:35:20 PMDon't care about the emotes or anything. Only interested in TTK but IMO I think that's expensive at $40. It should be $20 like the other two expansions.
-
Then don't buy them? They are for collectors
-
Everyone complaining, yet if you have put enough time into the game, you will most likely just buy it anyway.
-
Shows how much it really was worth to them!!
-
No ones forcing you to buy them. If you don't want to, don't
-
I agree with you. Especially with those that purchased this back in Sept 2014 and waited 9 months for everything to trickle out. The Taken King should cost no more than $20 with all the stuff included.
-
Excuuuuuse me, princess! We're also getting 3 shaders and 3 class items. #worth
-
TTK will have multiple strikes, huge raid, new area to patrol. Story almost as long as the vanilla story, new race, subclasses, exotics, and new PvP modes. That's a lot for $40.
-
Which is why I always buy the basic package. No sense in spending more for so little.
-
Hmm.... Pay $60 for TTK stuff or buy Fallout 4 hmm.... I wonder which one I would pick. FALLOUT 4
-
Don't -blam!-ing buy it then they aren't forcing you to so shut up
-
Edited by ninja: 6/28/2015 6:02:50 AMI completely agree. I will most likely buy destiny 2. i dont think ttk will be worth the money honestly. 1 raid n 2 strikes? WTF CMON Then again there is 2 new areas to explore but it sounds hella boring
