Post level 20/max level PvE content needs a revamp

We've reached that point where post level 20/max level PvE content needs to be changed and add variance. The strike playlist is not a comparable alternative to the Crucible. It has been reduced to everyone running past as many enemies as possible to get to the end because that's where the only reward is. The incentive to not do that is negligible at best. The Nexus can be completed in like 6 minutes. Instead of redoing the story strikes, leave them as just that. The story. Make the strike playlist something with more variance and that rewards players at checkpoints throughout. No new content is needed. Use the current planets and rename and reskin enemies and bosses. Strikes would play out something like this instead: It picks a random planet and the strike is themed based around the enemies regularly encountered on that planet. Earth would be to take out an unnamed Fallen house leader or Hive abomination. The moon would be the same as above. Venus would be to take out a Vex mind or Fallen house leader. Mars would to take out an unnamed Cabal general or a Vex mind. The theme could change based on whatever is happening in the universe per whatever new expansion is out. This could also be used to set up future storylines. This would also instill a feel of continually accomplishing something as far as the story/universe goes. The "legendaryness" fades pretty quickly killing the exact same bosses for a year. The structure of the strike would be like this. A team of 3 or 4 Guardians is dropped off at one of a few potential locations on the planet. They then have to complete three of several potential objectives in a row in three of several potential locations. All randomized. Followed by one of several potential bosses in one of several potential bosses. Also randomized. Objectives and bosses would be in darkness zones so the team would move in and out each time possibly encountering s public event along the way. Strikes would vary each time. Rewards are given at each objective completion or even just at number two and the boss. Difficulty is adjusted based on how many Guardians participated. However, the system will always try to find four. Thoughts?
