So I got a cool new gumball machine fish tank the other day because.... Well... It was cool, but I didn't want to be "that guy" who gets a fish tank just because it looks cool (even though I'm totally that guy), so I decided to go to the local pet store to get a few fish for it.
I went to the fish section right away. I ask about the half moon bettas and I am immediately told "you don't want those". She did this 4 times. 4 times whenever I asked information about the fish. She eventually asked me if I was sure I wanted to shop at this store
Bitch! I should know what fish I want and what store I want to shop at. I'm a customer, take my -blam!-ing money, don't discourage me from buying something.
So I eventually get my fish. I got 1 half moon beta, 4 neons, and 4 ghost shrimps. I go up to the checkout isle so I can pay for my fish and the cashier asks "do you have a place for these fish?" Of course I do, I don't just go out to buy a fish just for shits and giggles.
I told her that I have a new gumball machine fish tank and she asks how many gallons it is. I tell her it is a 4 gallon tank and she gives me the look of utter judgement. She then asks "and you plan on putting these many fish in it?" In the snarkiest voice I have ever heard. These fish are like at most 1.5 inches, it's not a huge deal. She says "well that just seems a bit negligent to me"
Seriously! I'm a customer and I don't need your input or you judging me.
I pay for my fish, give her the finger, and I leave.
I hate the pet store
Edit: Don't worry, I do plan on getting another tank for the fish, I just hated the way she was talking to me.
