Destiny works with a weekly cycle, which means that there is a certain amount of activities that only lets you get loot once per character, per week. Those activities include the nightfall and the raids. For example; i see you have a level 31 Hunter. You can only do the nightfall one time per week with that Hunter and get loot from it. The next time you run the nightfall with that hunter you will not get anything from it untill bungie resets the week. They do that every week. You can however do it with a different account. Bungie resets the week every Tuesday at 9AM UTC ( use a converter to figure out what time that is for your timezone). After they have reset it you can run the nightfall again and get loot again. What most senior destiny players do is to ensure they have 3 accounts. You can do the nightfall one time per week on every account so they can do the nightfall 3 times and get loot from it. After that you have to wait until tuesday. Activities that use this 'reset' system are: -The Nightfall strikes -The weekly heroic strikes -Both Raids -The prison of elders ( note that you can get loot from every different playlist so if you have completed the level 32 version you will still be able to get loot from the 34 and 35 versions once you complete those). It is worth noting that the 'Hard' raids include the loot drop of the 'normal' raids. For example; lets say you do the Vault of Glass on normal and one checkpoint allows you to earn 4 ascendant shards while the hard raid allows you to earn 6. If you do the normal raid you would get those 4 shards, if you were to start the hard raid after that then you will only get 2 shards ( the 6 you could have gotten minus the 4 you have already received from normal). Therefore ...if you want all your loot at once i recommend doing the hard raids so you will only have to do one raid. ( conditions may apply in regards to certain weapons that only drop on normal or hard mode) After tuesday all your progression will be reset. You will not have the experience multiplier that you get from completing the nightfall strike anymore and you can do it all again if you want. This is to ensure people do not simply grind nightfall strikes to get every exotic weapon within their first week.
